If I had said something out of order about Leicester then by all means ban me, I don't do that though. Only reason I want to go in there is to post in a thread about ALL Premier League teams. Not to wind you Leicester fans up.. Find it strange that Mark and co on here allow a QPR fan banging on about Harry Redknapp all the time is still allowed to post in there.

You do know Col isn't actually a QPR fan...

Of course I am a City fan. Since the age of 7, through the Little years, then O'Neill and since. Currently a season ticket holder.

What I ALSO am not is critical either of QPR or of Harry Redknapp.

But some are, so, cest la vie and I'll leave it at that.

Finally, what I don't do is to stray onto the fans forums of other clubs. IMO that feels futile and almost disloyal.

How is it disloyal to visit and post on another club's forum? That's absolute nonsense.

Sure you would visit as a football fan not a supporter of your favourite team. As long as you are not offensive (too much) there is no harm.

Ever had a chat with a Forest/Derby fan? If so you're a traitor!

The visitors we have are only having conversations with us, often just to get another perspective. They certainly don't lend us their support so I don't see how they're being disloyal, all they're doing is talking to us.

Sorry fellas, yes to me, it would feel disloyal.

The first thought I have when I see a fan from another club often on this forum is why? Have they been kicked-off their own for instance?

Not if it's to come on to 'wish us all the best in today's game' against their own team, but to continually visit yes, to me seems strange. Not wrong (people are welcomed) but unusual and in some way disloyal.

Sure, I talk to all sorts of football fans from whatever club they support. But I personally wouldn't be resident at another club's forum.

maybe other fans come here because its a better message board. take Lamby. He is probably liked more here.

Perhap i should try the Liverpool or Newcastle sites. Fans are not so affluent up t' North. :)

I don't think he's 'liked' here; he's just entertainment as well as we're much more lenient here cos everywhere else he's been banned lol

I enjoy reading most of your posts but without (trying to) sound like a dick I think you need to grow up a bit. It's constant comments like that that probably make some of the mods fed up with you. Like I said, you contribute well enough an make a lot of good points but whenever someone disagrees with you or calls you biased you just lash out and insult their intelligence or tell them they're wrong.

No idea what you might have been banned for but if you could get through a difference of opinions without throwing your toys out the pram it might help.

Valid points, but I wouldn't be saying anything like that if I was being banned for nothing.

I'll make a new Premier League chat in Gen Football and watch it be closed within a few hours..

That last part is exactly the problem, ffs. "I'll just do what I want anyway and they'll probably just delete it."

You really don't help yourself bud. Just learn when to zip it and let an argument drop and you'll take a massive step forward.

You could start by not responding to this.

10 years ago today actually.

We'd recently been relegated, had a squad of players I couldn't identify with and a manager who was signing anyone going over the age of 30. During the previous season I and some other members posted on Leicestershire.com (anyone remember that?!) which later became talking balls sports forum. I thought we could do with a dedicated lcfc forum and put the idea to the webmaster of tb but he wasn't keen so I ended up setting the site up myself with no knowledge at all! It started well for the first week until I thought I could successfully upgrade the forum, I pressed the big red button and lost the lot - didn't make any backups lol.

So we started it up all over again (hence my 11 July join date), wasn't easy that first year there were quite a few other alternatives which people preferred (tb, rivals and the official lcfc messageboard). Alot of credit must go to Scowy cobbo, ric flair, ricey though as they joined the forum from tb not only to post but help moderate and write articles for the site, and davieG of course who joined a few weeks after. Without them the forum wouldn't have got up and running nevermind what it is today. :)

It's been a pleasure Mark. You should be immensely proud of this gaff. Here's to the next 10 years.

I don't think it's any coincidence my work has suffered looking at my stats over the last two years.

Really have to make an effort to do less on here looking at that!

I'm coming up to my 10 year anniversary and the one season I've been in the top 10 posters was the one I started full time work after Uni. Textbook

Nice to have a job where you can combine the two. My first job (bench piece work) I could not my subsequent jobs (security) I could.

Not done office work but I am sure that if you are not well in with the boss (or the boss) your time spent on work and social media would be closely monitored.
