Sound to me like he's going offload Conners to Wigan (who have 3 "striker irons in the fire" according to Jewell). £1.5 million will bring in Boyd AND Reardon, who I see have "pulled out" of their moves to Cardiff, strangely ! I would guess that connoly has been bid for by wigan and was likely turned down, wigan will probably come again if they cant get anyone and craig is preparing for this, I agree with the above comment regarding Boyd and Riordan it would make sense why they cancelled their moves. would this be good for Leics? I dont know, if all this happened we would have 5 strikers with possibly some money left for January transfer window, but we would have lost a striker on form. You seen lots of scottish football?? FFS Connolly has one bad game and all of a sudden he is shit and won't get us the goals. His record in the last 15 games over last and this season is probably better than any other striker in the UK. Step how exactly should we get a 25 goals a season striker then? You got 5 million quid to buy one for us? Dean Ashton and Andy Johnsonare really highly rated by lots of people in this country... they've scored loads this season so far aint they!!!!
