Finnegan Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Really good feet from Lewa there. For an archetypal "big" man its often easy to forget he's barely six foot and actually has brilliant technique.
ScouseFox Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Real in very real danger of going out tomorrow. Not saying they will for sure but they're in crap form and got out of jail against Valencia. They've been very inconsistent and Ronaldo has been very off colour. It'd be like him to just whack out an incredible hattrick and blitz it of course but I'd be equally unsurprised if he's shit and anonymous and wastes a bunch of chances and has a mardy. Yeah but tattoo or no tattoo he's still well cooler than messi will ever be
Finnegan Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Cool doesn't win you a ballon dor. Messi has 2015 wrapped up already. Ronaldo probably won't win one again.
Samilktray Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Really good feet from Lewa there. For an archetypal "big" man its often easy to forget he's barely six foot and actually has brilliant technique. And nearly signed for bloody Blackburn
Samilktray Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Is Lewandowski the most successful football manager cult hero of all time?
Finnegan Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 He might be. How much did Kallstrom win? Must have quite a few french titles. Definitely more hilarious flops than successful cult hits though.
Stadt Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Didn't Cantona almost go to Wednesday?he went to Leeds which is about the same really, I know Leeds were quite massive then but still, leeds
Finnegan Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 No, before Leeds. I'm sure there's a story of him having a trial at Wednesday and playing in an indoor fives game or something.
MC Prussian Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 That's the kind of price you pay for switching off at the Allianz Arena against Bayern. Barcelona have been napping for most part of this second half. Poor attitude. Hope this acts as a wake-up call that you just can't be that lenient.
Finnegan Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Yup....Trevor Francis got recommended Cantona but decided to wait until he'd personally seen Eric play...Before that happened Leeds nipped in !! Too indecisive in the steel city. Legend has it that Alex Sabella told United about a young Argentine kid called Maradona in the late '70s, but they couldn't decide whether he was worth the risk!! Francis, that's the donut. Knew it was one of them. Him or Big Ron.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 He might be. How much did Kallstrom win? Must have quite a few french titles. Definitely more hilarious flops than successful cult hits though. You telling me Tonton Zola Moukoko is crap? Not having it.
StanSP Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 He might be. How much did Kallstrom win? Must have quite a few french titles. Definitely more hilarious flops than successful cult hits though. Freddy Adu being one of the biggest I'd say.
tom27111 Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 No, before Leeds. I'm sure there's a story of him having a trial at Wednesday and playing in an indoor fives game or something. He played for Wednesday in some sort of indoor tournament. Trevor Francis insisted he needed to see Cantona play on grass before he'd sign him, in the meantime, Leeds nipped in and snapped him up. The rest is history! £1.2m to Man Utd, even with today's free transfers, that is the greatest bargain of all time. I hate Leeds, I hate United, I'm not keen on the French, but I bloody love Eric Cantona. What a player.
Jaspa Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 Is Pogba playing? Yup A Juve goal could liven this up, Real well on top though
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 I think he was being facetious. Pogba rather anonymous, doesn't look fit at all.
Danno Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 Nothing would please me more than madrid going out tonight
Guest ttfn Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 I was being facetious. I don't watch much Serie A or La Liga but have heard great things about Pogba. I know he's been injured but he's been rubbish so far. And now he's set up a goal.
Samilktray Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 Nothing would please me more than madrid going out tonightNothing would please you more, in this big wonderful world of ours, nothing would please you more than that?
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 Pogba has been brilliant the times I've seen him play for Juve to be fair. He's only just been rushed back from nearly two months out. Shows to be fair. Sloppy defending from Real. Good finish Morata, game needed that.
