Don't quite know if this will work.

Jason Bourne just said that Vardy coming off the bench at the start of the season will work really effectively given that noone has seen him play before.

Er, so what about the friendly we played the other week against the team we start the season against? And the fact that Martinez has been at several of our other friendlies since? D'oh.

I don't get why people think they haven't seen Vardy play. You think managers and teams don't do their homework?

They have a week to prepare for the game (most of the time). Yes he is quick, explosive and an excellent player but I assure you, teams will know what Vardy is all about come the game they play us.

Given that, he will cause problems in every game he plays. His movement and acceleration is sometimes unstoppable, I think he will be wasted out wide. He needs to be on the last defender through the middle in possession and chasing the ball down when we don't have.

But that's just my opinion!

I was away today, and couldnt read a live feed, so when I got home the first headline was."Ulloa leaves seeing double!" Nearly fell for it until I remembered it was media.

Ulloa scores 2, another win, can't really ask for more. Agree with Miquel, but even so definitely need to try and sort that out asap, at least Hansen won't be having a go at us every week if we don't.

Totally agree re Hansen. I found his style quite hard work. Just always seemed so negative. Watched MOTD and ended up feeling depressed! Mind you, listening to Taggs has the same effect!!!

Great that Ulloa scored, but more interested in how he played. Was he just standing up front waiting for service or chasing players down, coming deep to collect the ball and linking up with the midfield?

Did a lot of chasing from what I saw

FFS where are the goals? And where is my fvcking season ticket?

Apologies for quality and shakiness but you get the idea:

Good work by Ulloa for first, and nice to see an aerial threat for second.

Poor from Moore for their goal.

Lovely through ball from Knocky for Konch and a nice finish from DD.

lol He's lamb shanked that for me, looks like he's trying to hit the other corner with the outside of his boot!

Good that Ulloa's got off the mark though and both reasonable finishes.

On my big fat HD tv it is better quality and it looks like a deliberate flick with the outside of his boot.

Very good goals that and pleased for Ulloa - now the knot's come loose, one could expect more of that to come.

As for the commentary, it's a bit odd they forgot we're playing Werder Bremen on Saturday as our last pre-season game.

Looks like a total spaff to me but either way it's in the net. If it is intentional it's clever and he's not even looked at the corner it goes in.

I thought it looked like he was going for the far corner. He looks sheepish after he's scored too, which tells me he didn't mean it.

No doubt he meant that. Clearly sees the route to goal on that side blocked so adjusts well. Great finish.

EDIT: Also harsh to criticise Moore much for that IMO. His first thought is to block it and someone should have been looking to get goal side of Agard. Is it GTF who's slow to react there?

All our goals were very well taken and the build up play was nice to see too - very measured and another level from the high standards we set last season, so, as I have always said I have no doubts in our attacking threat.

Leo's first two goals for us were well taken and I thought his header was superb. Great ball in and there he was...just like I said he would do the other day. Thrilled for him that he is up and running.

However, as we all keep saying, the issue is at the back and I know Liam is one of our more consistent performers but their goal - albeit well taken - was very poor from a defensive point of view for us.

Nigel needs to look at that ahead of the 16th. Oherwise, irrespective of how well we do up top it will be irrelevant if defensively we don't come up to stratch, but, there is still time... :)

After watching the game last night he took his goals well and could well have scored 2 more but for the goalkeeper saving them. One of those was a near post header so hopefully we now have an aerial threat as well.

Said a couple of times about James that I don't think he's a natural athlete as such and probably has to work harder at his fitness than others. In both his seasons here he's not really got going until around October/November.
