Garble, garble

"Ulloa can't score for ****!"

"He's a waste of space"

"Akindbadbuy, Mk.II"

Then he scores two against Rotherham.

I know, it's just a friendly.  :(

Didn't think I'd ever be so relieved at seeing a City player score in pre-season. The goals are entirely meaningless of course but as there seems to be a considerably disproportionate level of criticism (and praise too), it should at least give FoxesTalk a bit of respite for a few days.

Hope Knocky's injury isn't too serious!

Means nothing and doesn't proof anything but will hopefully give ulloa a bit of time when the season starts.

Good to see us scoring goals but worried about our inability to keep clean sheets.

Again.. You can only beat what's put in front of you. Rotherham have just been promoted and will be buoyant because of this.

Another good win City.

This is why we need another wide option, down to just two players already.

Absolutely, lose one and there is nobody to come off the bench when needed.

Hasn't Vardy been tried out wide in one or two pre-season matches? Get the feeling if we are struggling he will revert to the lone striker with Vardy as a wide forward. Schlupp could also move up the left to reasonable effect too.

That said if Knocky's injury is a long one, we should probably bring in cover.

Can see Vardy or Schlupp being played out wide if injuries.

But a cheeky loan bid for Julian Green wouldn't go a miss  :D

Very nice win again and I'm glad for Ulloa. Feels like a little weight has been lifted off his shoulders.

By my calculations, that's about "kingfox cheeky loan bid" No. 1'874.

I might be off by one or two, but you get my drift.

Jason Bourne just said that Vardy coming off the bench at the start of the season will work really effectively given that noone has seen him play before.

Er, so what about the friendly we played the other week against the team we start the season against? And the fact that Martinez has been at several of our other friendlies since? D'oh.

Actually had to laugh out loud walking out the ground.

Rotherham fan: "Leicester don't look very good do they? They will struggle next season only put three past us and they look very weak defensively".

Ok mate.

Doesn't mean a great deal as it's about fitness but psychologically it can only be a good thing for Leo that he's bagged a couple tonight.

I'd rather not play square pegs in round holes. We need to be thinking bigger now, there's no room for glaring errors anymore, tactical or otherwise.

There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to fashion the kind squad that we want. There's not really many excuses for not bringing in players, we're in the league everyone wants to play in.

If we think we haven't got enough wide players, then we should be going out and getting them. We don't have to play our (arguably best) strikers out wide, so let's not.

Have to agree with you there Kitch. We have no excuse to not build a squad capable of managing injuries
