Where is this James information coming from? Pearson didn't mention anything about it yesterday in his press conference. If he is injured I think it's our biggest loss out of all the injuries

 

Member of staff who was in the local boozer.

And before a thread is started, no, I'm not an ITK. Lets hope he missed training as a precaution and is fine.

Thoughts on the atmosphere?

 

 

Imaging it will be buzzing 10 mins before and after kick-off.....but also imagine it will be even more dull than last season if no one nets before the break.

For those of you wondering:

Barkley, Kone and Oviedo out and Coleman doubtful are our only injury concerns for this game. Coleman to have a fitness test before the game.

Our concerns are vardy, knockaert, albrighton and the definetley out Upson.

 

 

Shame to start the season without our best striker and wide players, but that is life.

Also to those that are wondering, it would be a good idea throwing money on a Besic booking tomorrow. Looks a player but calling him a hothead is an understatement.

Our concerns are vardy, knockaert, albrighton and the definetley out Upson.

Shame to start the season without our best striker and wide players, but that is life.

Would've been nice for both teams to be full strength. Injury to Barkley is a real shame, he's an absolute joy to watch play football, but his tipped replacement Besic looks a really good player.

Knockaert and Vardy are also joys to watch. One through sheer pace (Beat Stones when he had a 30 yd head start) and one through the ability to change the game from anywhere in the opposition half.

 

Just because we were in the championship last season does not mean we have players who are not just as much a joy to watch as Barkley, because quite simply we do.

Sound a bit combative there mate. Didn't say that you didn't, everytime I saw you play last year I enjoyed watching you and think you'll be a breath of fresh air to the league. Do I think you have a player as talented as Barkley? No. But don't take my admiration of my own teams players as a dig at your team. I know how good you are.

Up nice and early this morning, feels a bit like christmas lol, some of these Everton injuries sounds to have come out at the right time. You never know  :thumbup: but still sticking by my score line 1-3 Everton.

Last time I saw us play Everton was a 0-0 draw in the final season at Filbert Street. Worst game of football I've ever seen; there can't have been more than 2 shots on target in the entire match.

Feels a bit like the final day of last season all over again, although the summer break has flown by.
