Last night who else did anyone think might nick it for us. Our overall finishing was arguably quite poor .......that, along with some fine goalkeeping to deal with. Kingy jut has that ability to finish a game off ......elated for the man.

Last night I genuinely thought if anyone was gonna nick one, amidst a whole host of chances, it would be King

Aye, I fancied another late winner from King after about 60 minutes - wish I'd stuck my money there, would have been a great way to kick off betting

I would imagine King would be looking for a move in January. He will want to try and force his way into the Wales first team for the Euros and you'd have to think that he will need to play to do that. Pure speculation on my part.

He's going to the Euros, he's one of their main 15/16 players.

He'll get 15 or so starts this season and plenty of sub appearances, that's more than enough to keep him ticking over.

Plus cup games.

Oh he's going to the Euros for sure. But I think Cladio sees him as 4th choice midfielder now behind Kante, Inler and Drinky. Maybe even 5th choice if / when Matty James get playing again. Hoping he won't leave but it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't at least look for a loan move.

he wasnt good enough for league one, wasnt good enough for the championship, wasnt good enough in a two man midfield, wasnt good enough to be captain, wasnt good enough for a team challenging for promotion, wasnt good enough for the prem, wasnt good enough now we've got inler HE IS STILL GOOD ENOUGH

This is the trouble with the old tinterweb people get the wrong end of the stick, Scousefox seems to more than most. Shame its not a chat in the pub as my fascial expressions and hand gestures would help get my point across better.

I think Andy King is great! I'd have in my team as a three man midfield and much prefer him to Inler. But for some reason a fully qualified and experienced football management team doesn't seem to agree with me! No idea why. My fear is that a quality player like King looks to leave the club in order to seek a personal goal. Thus opening up a debate of whether or not he stays or goes. At no point have I said he is not good enough.

Didnt he say in an interview a while back he wants to be a one team man? I think he knows his role at Leicester as being a reliable back up in case any of the midfield get injured or out of form, he knows he will get some game time throughout the season and seems happy at the club despite being backup for the most part. As for the Euros wasn't he in the first team for Wales last season despite not playing a great deal?

Every successful squad needs players like Kingy - people who are good enough and happy enough to be squad players.

It's even better when he's a one club man rather than a cycle of players on two year deals.

He's not going anywhere, he'll still have a part to play. He played well at the start of this season, at the end of last season, he'll play plenty of matches.

Drinkwater and Kante are excellent at the moment, though Drinkwater can be frustrating with his long shots.

I thought both Inler and King would start matches before the season started.

Great back-ups to have.

read on twitter before that kingy played in our game away at brighton in league one where we lost and ended that week in our lowest league position ever, and also appeared in the game at the weekend when we won and ended that week in our highest ever position. literally been through it all.

2 years ago we drew 1-1 with Yeovil, look at the difference between the clubs now.
