Col city fan Posted 16 August 2015 Share Posted 16 August 2015 Don't ever doubt it - some people still don't rate Kingy at all. Leicester's remarkable run of results since last April has been nothing to do with our Academy product's return but was basically down to Cambiasso. Even now it's down to the presence of Cambiasso's spirit for all that he didn't want to play for us any more!
Harry - LCFC Posted 16 August 2015 Share Posted 16 August 2015 Don't ever doubt it - some people still don't rate Kingy at all. Cambiasso was excellent late in the season and played a big role in keeping us up, as did several others. Thracian Posted 16 August 2015 Share Posted 16 August 2015 Cambiasso was excellent late in the season and played a big role in keeping us up, as did several others. I don't know why that upsets you; It doesn't upset me at all.In fact I've no idea how we've possibly managed to keep on winning with such mundane Brits in midfield. I have to presume that "The Master" is sitting incognito in the stands pulling their strings.

TJB-fox Posted 19 August 2015 Share Posted 19 August 2015 There's one major trait that I absolutely love about Andy King. All the way through his career at Leicester, wether in the Championship or Premiership, he's been heavily criticised and told he's not good enough. But, every time he's come out fighting and shown he is good enough, delighted with the fact him and Drinkwater have played so well the first two games
Detroit Blues Posted 19 August 2015 Share Posted 19 August 2015 King and Drinky have performed above expectations so far this season. If they keep it up, it will be interesting to see how Ranieri handles the playing time between them and our new comers.
Wymsey Posted 19 August 2015 Share Posted 19 August 2015 I admit I'm surprised King has performed more than some have hoped. When he played in League, I seriously thought at the time that 'he's too good for this league, but will he cope with the demands of the Championship'. I'm happy for him, absolutely. Clever Fox Posted 19 August 2015 Share Posted 19 August 2015 He reminds me of Martin Peters. That's a very good analogy of Kingy. I always thought he was more suited to a higher standard that say Championship. There's one major trait that I absolutely love about Andy King. All the way through his career at Leicester, wether in the Championship or Premiership, he's been heavily criticised and told he's not good enough. But, every time he's come out fighting and shown he is good enough, delighted with the fact him and Drinkwater have played so well the first two games Yes he never complained or had a hissy fit. A top pro and a club legend. Now that he's getting Stronger his Head and Feet are doing his talking. Long may it continue.
glenelgfox Posted 19 August 2015 Share Posted 19 August 2015 Andy King is much maligned and and a good deal on here expect Rinaldo type performances everytime he plays. He gives 110 percent everytime he pulls on the LCFC shirt. Andy King is Leicester City FC!

Guest Posted 3 September 2015 Share Posted 3 September 2015 What does he need to do then? Probably command a regular place for a start and then play at an elevated level for a while. Having said that he's more of a Leicester legend than Cambiasso and people say he is so perhaps you're right. Anyway I'm off to watch Kingy boss Cyprus
willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 3 September 2015 Share Posted 3 September 2015 King never makes a fuss just gets on with it, whether he is playing or on the bench, a proper pro, if he is not a legend now he certainly will be .
