Mullet1 Posted 6 January 2015 Share Posted 6 January 2015 19:48 SSN FOXES EYE STRIKE DUO Sky sources have told us that Andrej Kramaric is currently in Leicester discussing personal terms ahead of a proposed move to the King Power Stadium. But even if they do sign the Rijeka forward, Sky Sports understands Nigel Pearson could still pursue Burnley striker Danny Ings after a bid of around £7.5million was turned down by the Clarets before the transfer window opened. Guest seanfox778 Posted 7 January 2015 Share Posted 7 January 2015 It says it the Sky Sports paper talk section that Hull will need to find £10.4mill in wages to get Defoe. That's an awful lot to spend if true.

Vlad the Fox Posted 7 January 2015 Share Posted 7 January 2015 It depends how desperate Defoe is to come back. It's no coincidence that qpr, hull and ourselves have claimed he is too expensive, we all know his situation and are in a good position to haggle over wages, otherwise he stays at a club that he doesn't want to stay at. LCCFox96 Posted 7 January 2015 Share Posted 7 January 2015 It depends how desperate Defoe is to come back. Thats where I think we can read a little further into his tweet about his fitness camp in France. Says something about his character to be doing an intensive course like that in what is his off season. Managers he has played under claim he is a model pro too so he would have to be really unsettled to request a move away imo. An indication he is probably desperate to return to England, a situation which hopefully we can take advantage of!

whoareyaaa Posted 7 January 2015 Share Posted 7 January 2015 still favorite to join us odd's on him joining someone else are quite high there must be something in it, I would think it would be kept pretty quiet anyway if we was after him its not like the Kramaic transfer where we have a lot of info coming from there side. http://www.skybet.com/football/transfer-specials/event/16942602?aff=10646&dcmp=ss_betlink_TCtab

Jace Posted 7 January 2015 Share Posted 7 January 2015 Not overly fussed about Defoe, great finisher but much rather have someone like Kramaric who is desperate to prove himself as world class in the Premiership rather than Defoe who joined his last club on a short term basis for a big signing on fee

Robin JD Popley Posted 7 January 2015 Share Posted 7 January 2015 I still think we could end up getting him; Palace though due have the bonus of being in and around London. That, said, bar our league position - everything about our club is to a Premiership standard nowadays and the fact we have just prized away a striker from Chelsea and have signed one of the all-time great Argentinians I think may impress him more than the idea of playing under Alan Pardew. He can live in London and they need a striker and the board must have promised pardew money.
