Corky Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Championship is that way ->. Feck off back to it and leave the Premiership alone. You don`t belong there. Seasons in Premiership: Stoke- 7 Leicester- 9
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Priceless. :-) You`re shitAnd you are Stoke, whats your point.? 3-1 to the better team with the better ground, the better training facilities, way better city and not the birthplace of Englands biggest EVER tosspot, so that will be us then.... see you saturday DudeBTW, you do know that 'dude' is the end of a dogs dick? Such a fitting name for yourself. Now quick back to lessons.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Heart says 2-2. Head says they won't be able to break us down. 0-2 to the mighty Foxes. I'm going heads. 0-2!
Fox on the edge Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 So, as for Saturdays game. Has anyone ever sat in the home end at Stoke? I've been offered a ticket above the tunnel at the Britannia and I'm unsure how I would be able to sit on my hands. Should I take the ticket or try and get in the away as it's a local game for me?
iamafox Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Think our first win this season is just around the corner, 1-0 to us.
foxfanazer Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Heart says 2-2. Head says they won't be able to break us down. 0-2 to the mighty Foxes. I'm going heads. 0-2! Shouldn't that be the other way round?
Buce Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Championship is that way ->. Feck off back to it and leave the Premiership alone. You don`t belong there. Just out of curiosity, how many fingers do you have?
Stadt Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 nobody on here can say that they will underestimate us when almost very one on the other page has said we'll win
KFS Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Championship is that way ->. Feck off back to it and leave the Premiership alone. You don`t belong there. Why is the Internet readily available to cvnts like this?
Oxfordfox83 Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 Shouldn't that be the other way round? No, I meant it this way. I fear we'll struggle, and deep down I'd be content with a draw, but thinking dispassionately about the games we've just played, I don't think Stoke have the quality to break us down. Rationally, I believe that if we score we will win. But we'll see...
AKCJ Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 I just hope we keep up this awesome reputation we're getting. Although performances need to be turning into points. I'd go as far as to say that a win here would be more impressive than the point against Arsenal. It'd show that we're truly ready for Premier League survival.
veezeeblue Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Stoke 1-2 lcfc Ulloa Nugent Fierce Midfield Battle
Shipman Out Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal with Man United to follow, everyone commenting about our difficult start. Well welcome to the Premier League. The fixture which got dismissed when we saw the first 5 games was Stoke away. To me one of the toughest places to go and get a result, Credit to Stoke and there fans who shook the Premiership grounds and a few players heads as they became the 12th man and stayed up that first season (despite what everyone predicted! Sound familiar?) People assuming because we have put in a decent account of ourselves so far were gonna go Stoke and win need to wake up the likes of Stoke Southampton and Hull are 2/3 years ahead of us. That said they will not know and hopefully underestimate some of our lesser known players such as Moore Drinkwater and Mehrez. I shall be praying to the football gods for a win, praying the sold out away end creates a din and hoping that the negativity following a defeat does not spread. **** Stoke but I predict, Stoke 2 - 0 Leicester (I'm usually wrong we'd of finished mid table last year if I was right huhu)
foxsake Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Just out of curiosity, how many fingers do you have? Ha ha!
DennisNedry Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Head says a Stoke win. I'd happily take a score draw now if it was offered. I'd love a last winner Cambiasso winner!
Shipman Out Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 On a side note I've always liked Stoke because those green footbridges meant we were nearly at Alton Towers
Bobby Hundreds Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Stoke 1-2 Leicester Ulloa, Nugent. :nuge:
lgfualol Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Anyone else feel more confident when they imagine Cambiasso in our midfield?
benpicko Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Anyone else feel more confident when they imagine Cambiasso in our midfield? Didn't you say you didn't know who he was in the original thread?
lgfualol Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Didn't you say you didn't know who he was in the original thread? Yup, didnt mean it though.
LevelheadedStokie Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 G'day all..... Only posting on here because of that **** "The Dude" and the way he seems to have embarrassed the rest of us that aren't complete morons (felt i needed to balance things up a bit). Personally i have no issues with you guys whatsoever...didn't cheer when you went down (to be honest i was more interested in us getting into the Prem and getting onto the pitch to celebrate to even think about the fact that you'd just been relegated. no offence intended by that, sure you guys would be the same in just being happy for your own team if roles had been reversed) and also happen to think you'll stay up this season anyway. to be honest i think a lot of what The Dude has said is simply down to the provocation of one trolling idiot that came onto our board with the pretence of being friendly and then proceeding to slag us off and inform us how we're apparently likely to go down ourselves....let's face it we all have them!!! I think it'll be a tight game. you guys look like a proper newly promoted side....dogged, determined, play and give everything right up until the ref blows and never say die (much like when we first came up in terms of passion) which is exactly what you need to stay in this division and the quality you've added to an already decent side will ensure your safety this year. We've had a sluggish start to be honest, shit against Villa, shit against a 10 man Hull and suddenly people are getting all carried away because of one good win last time out. if we play like we can play towards the end of last season when the new style and players finally clicked into gear then i think we'll have too much for you to be honest, however that just hasn't really happened as yet so i reckon it will be one goal that decides it either way. i know you have pace but i think we'll see Shawcross lying deep because of that (Wilson can be a liability against pace and especially if he's turned so Ryan will "Shaw" it up for us behind him) and he'll be strong enough to keep that under control in the most part. to really get a decent result against you we'll need Arnautovic to finally turn it on (he definitely can but is inconsistent at times) and to see Diouf given some support when we attack (i'm hoping we finally get him and Crouch partnered up and working together). i'm going for 2-1 to us simply because of how strong we are at home but i don't for a second think that this is going to be an easy game where you'll just capitulate and we'll trounce you 4-0 in any way. going to be a proper test against a promoted side who, like all the rest of the new Prem sides, have nothing to lose (which is precisely why an Everton fan i know was shitting it about having you first game of the season...you perfectly justified his concerns there fair play!) 2-1 us Diouf Adam Nugent Good luck for the rest of the season lads and lasses and enjoy the day (bring your scarves, hats and mittens if you've never been to the Brit before )

Stoke 4 - 1 Leicester We've done so well so far we're always gonna have a crash and I think our next two games are it.
Tommythefox06 Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Bit worried about us defensively, although not sure Schmeichel would have fancied the aerial assault from stoke anyway, so maybe not as big a loss as it might have been. Going for a 2-1 win for Stoke, but hope I'm wrong
Freesolo Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Would like to say 1-1 but cant really see us winning up there though its not impossible if everyone plays well particularly at the back. Think we have to understand that the vast majority of are points are going to be from winning at home and if we can keep are great home record going we should do enough to stay up and surprise most of these clueless pundits that have wrote us off
LevelheadedStokie Posted 12 September 2014 Posted 12 September 2014 Cheers pal but I think you're wrong. Stoke 4 - 1 Leicester We've done so well so far we're always gonna have a crash and I think our next two games are it. i'd love to see it but us scoring more than 2 in a game is a rarity!!! managed it couple of times last season but it's definitely not a common occurrence and hasn't been since we came up. this season especially we've looked ok going forwards then completely run out of ideas in the final third as some of the new boys are still getting used to the setup and style (it took us months to click into gear last year for the same reasons and we've brought in more newbies this summer too so will probably take a while to get going again this season). just hope we can enjoy a good, competitive game between 2 sides that are fortunate enough to play honest football and not to have completely sold out in the way some of the other Prem sides have in the past.
