Brooksy Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 We'll nick this 1-0. It's that sort of game.
Babylon Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Positives: It's 0-0 against a decent team. The half went quickly. It's half time and Nigel can try and change things. Other than the Crouch header all their chances are long shots.
J.Lisemore Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer is the only player that can come out of that first half with any credit. How the hell are we not losing?
Bilbo Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Fook sake, people are moaning cus we say we're playing shit. We're playing shit, it is a fact So what good does moaning do? Suck it up, it's still 0-0!
Guest Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 What a poor first half. Midfield being dominated, the few times the attackers have the ball they've fluffed it. At least the defence is okay. Konch may be the best player for us in the first half.
zak_lcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer has been decent, good at claiming the ball from corners! Lucky to get to half time without conceding though, need to kick on and try and get something going it's looked a bit disjointed first half!
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Very lucky it's still 0-0 needs to vastly imrpove second half
Sharpe's Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer is shaky and we really need to sort out our ball retention but Stoke has been poor, too. One chance and the smash and grab is on!
Onions Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer been decent after an early spill. Need to keep more of the ball tho, it's inviting too much pressure.
Deucalion Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Not been reading this as been watching it, but that has to be the worst half of football from Leicester I have seen for a long time and we look every inch relegation fodder. We have had no threat from our forwards whatsoever, but I don't think it is their fault. Our midfield two are being overrun by their midfield three. We need to make changes to counter this. For me, I would bring Cambiasso on. Surely if you need someone to take control of the midfield and impose our game on them, then he is the player to do it. The only positive is we haven't conceded.
The Guvnor Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Stoke totally dominated without scoring, Nige will kick a few arses at half time hopefully they will respond.
Alpha Gifts & Awards Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Stoke are a very strong team, and this is an away fixture. Keep the faith, a few changes at half-time and more flowing football played on the deck should be in order ).
Webbo Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 That's our worst half this season, lucky to be still in it. PS The streams when you're not playing the big teams are crap.
Guest Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer is the only player that can come out of that first half with any credit. How the hell are we not losing? Because Stoke attacker have been really bad too. We've got to strengthen midfield, good job we've got 2 betterplayers on the bench
J.Lisemore Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 The whole of our midfield may aswell have not been there for the 1st half. Literally wouldn't have mattered. barely had a kick.
dedlock Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 We could have done better 1st half but other than the Crouch miss Stoke's threat has been wayward. A good defensive display but no threat up front. Mahrez has done little and Nuge/Ulloa seem isolated.
Kitchandro Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Delighted with 0-0, we've been terrible. Nigel has to make at least one sub at half time. Get Nugent off. He's totally ineffective, muscled off it way to easily. He can't get hold of the ball at all. He just looks half asleep. Get Vardy on in his place, he'll put himself about and give us a pacey option up front. The two in the midfield aren't working today. King is not suited to this kind of match/opponent. Hammond is way too slow. Cambiasso on to protect us better or Drinky on to give us a chance of doing something in their half. So far we've played diabolical football and it's not the way we've got to where we are now. We need some class in there. Schlupp is a fvcking retard.
fox123 Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Have to give credit to Stoke. They just aren't allowing us to play or have any time on the ball. I'd like to see Cambiasso on for Hammond in the second half to try and calm things down a bit and enable us to try and get in to some sort of rhythm.
Jimothy Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Drinkwater and Vardy second half please. Need to create more, do more with the ball. And we need to get in behind Stoke.
bovril Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Which is also a massive overreaction. If we want to stay in this league then I wouldn't say it was a massive overreaction.
Onions Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Has Hamer been good or not? Done everything he's needed to, had one spill, but beer solid enough.
MPH Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 If ever there was a time for Cambiasso to make his Prem debut, it would be now..... with Vardy on for Nuge.....
