ImBlue Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Loved when there fans chanted 'attack, attack, attack' at 3-1.. Showed little respect for our team and thought they would spank us and it was ultimately the reason they lost.. Happy days and gutted you arrogant toss pots..
bovril Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 I watched it in a Turkish pub on the banks of the dardanelles. Not even Byron or Homer could have concieved such an epic.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 I always like listening to match reviews from this guy. Normally pretty accurate and funny in places too. Gets our game pretty much spot on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzVbHPfR64E

Weirdly our fans chanting we want 5 didn't result in Man U winning 5-4. I don't think that's why they lost.
Jordan Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VGYY3u_YAeE For all the goals, and this really shows how loud we ACTUALLY were unlike MOTDThe fans sounded fantastic, and I love how the cameras in the ground shake when the fans celebrate. Jon Champion has said a few times already this season that the ground is rocking--literally.Also, as Leicester kicked off following Ander Herrera's flick to make it 3-1, Champion said something like, "And a defiant roar has gone around the King Power Stadium as if to say, 'Go on, we can still get something out of this game!'"
kingcarr21 Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 i was fuming with the fourth official. leicester fans chanting 'we want 6' and he misunderstood and put 6 mins injury time. Dumb cvnt
ImBlue Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Weirdly our fans chanting we want 5 didn't result in Man U winning 5-4. I don't think that's why they lost.I meant it's because they did attack too much and left themselves short at the back. LVG even said they were looking for more goals when they should have closed the game out.

Andy King Power Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 I just want a .gif of Nugent and Vardy enjoying themselves on the bench as the scoreline of 5-3 is shown.

The Doctor Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Here be a nitmeg gif but it is a gif of video of tv http://gfycat.com/VeneratedThornyHoatzin Shows how far they've fallen, no newly promoted team would have had the cheek, let alone the time on the ball, to do that when ol' beetroot face was in charge.
Humpy Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Congratulations, you’re team played out of their skin and clearly wanted it more. I think it’s fair to say a few controversial decisions went your way but there are no excuses from us. Vardy bullied our defence into submission and won you the game, I thin k we thought we had the game wrapped up and took our foot off the throttle and then go on to crumble. Fantastic atmosphere for such a small but fantastic ground. Fair play, see you at Old Trafford.
Humpy Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Shows how far they've fallen, no newly promoted team would have had the cheek, let alone the time on the ball, to do that when ol' beetroot face was in charge. We havent fallen, we are just sleeping. Things will improve, believe me.
Humpy Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 Nah, you're comatose Let’s be honest, we were well in control of the game before the dodgy penalty turned the game in your favour. However that’s no excuse, my point about us sleeping is in a few more weeks we will sort out the soft mentality that we showed against Leicester. Believe me, when we get it right, and we will get it right we will be a completely different team.

Humpy Posted 23 September 2014 Posted 23 September 2014 a championship one? That wouldn’t make us a different team, it would make us the same team in a different division, but yeah well done.

Believe me, when we get it right, and we will get it right we will be a completely different team. I don't think I was the only one worried when you were in the ascendancy, the attacking talent you have is frightening and you probably won't play many teams with the ability or desire to counter attack at the pace we do. Give me your team over Chelsea anyway. Their tactics were absolutely sickening against Man City when City went down to 10 men. Grow a pair Jose and try and win a game.

Something radical needs to change if you are to fix the defensive side though, having a fully fit personnel isn't enough.

Give me your team over Chelsea anyway. Their tactics were absolutely sickening against Man City when City went down to 10 men. Grow a pair Jose and try and win a game. That’s the feel about the Club at the moment, under Moyes it was negative as ****, defend defend defend, as you said, much like Chelsea did against City. Our biggest weakness is our defence, it’s not that they are bad players, just that they are always injured. We will get it right, but until then I can see a few more collapses like we saw at Leicester. To put it into perspective, I’d rather lose 5-3 playing attacking football than 1-0 playing boring as **** football. Hats off to Leicester though, they showed no fear.

Something radical needs to change if you are to fix the defensive side though, having a fully fit personnel isn't enough. As I said in the post above, we have good defenders but they are always injured, not only does this affect the balance of the team but it also takes 5 or 6 games for those players to hit form again. Going forward we have nothing to fear, we need to buy defenders who for one thing can stay injury free. I had my doubts that Leicester could stay up, not because I didnt rate your team but most Championship promoted teams struggle when they havent been ion the PL for years. This game changed not only my mind but the large majority of fans who I talked to on the way back to Manchester on Sunday. Heart and desire will win you plenty of fans.
