How important is team chemistry? I have several gripes with FUT but I always feel team chemistry is a burden, I'd sooner not have to worry about it.

 

In years gone by, I tended to find that it would have a huge effect on the 'luck' and subsequently, the outcome of the game. Lower chemistry tends to see the accuracy of your players drop and you'll notice the ball dropping to your opponent more often as they'll win the 50/50 balls . Unless playing on single player, you've got no hope of beating anybody decent online.

 

At least with concept squads you can have a quick tinker and it'll help you to understand how chemistry works.

Answer is no to seeing how loanees in other leagues are doing outside of cups.

Also yeah definitely sterile presentation if you play against Forest. Prem vs Prem for the best atmosphere.

Still tweaking sliders, boring 1-0 win on legendary against Everton, 4-1 thrashing of Chelsea, more tweaks now a 3-1 loss to Arsenal. Bounced between 4-3-3 to 4-3-1-2 to 4-2-3-1 and back to 4-3-3. Still haven't found the right mix to make it work this year.

I have the weirdest array of goal scorers too... Subs are making huge impacts. Knockaert and Simpson my first two off the mark... Then Hammond...

Picked this up for £40 from Tesco which isn't too bad. Played the Liverpool vs Man City game you get thrown straight into and did a friendly between LCFC and Forest.

 

Main plus point for me is the stadium. It looks quality! As others have said, the away fans are also in the right place. Another good thing for LCFC on the game is that we have our 3 kits.

 

The biggest negative for me is that once I got past the Liverpool v Man City game, the whole thing is really sluggish if you're connected online. It's bad enough going through the menus but when you actually get to trying to play a game, it's un-playable. This is probably only an issue for the PS4 becuase it's the same problem that they had with the demo. Thing about that is as soon as the demo was released, EASportsFifa's twitter page let everybody know that they were aware of issues and that they were investigating. There is also a potential workaround by disabling uPnP on your router but it's still abit poor.

 

The main other downsides are that we don't have the game faces or in-game chants. Considering the main selling point for this particular game is that they're attempting to make this 'feel' like a Premier League match, that's pretty crap! As others have said though, hopefully this will come with an update in the coming days. I'm not too hopeful about the chants though. Surely it wouldn't have been too difficult to sort. It also would've been nice to have had a retro LCFC kit (though that may have been missed because LCFC hasn't ever won the top league or FA Cup).

 

I'm not someone who usually likes to moan for the sake of it but it does feel like this game is unfinished, which is pretty poor for a game on release day. It's not like they haven't had time to plan for this.

It's hard to not be a little envious amongst all the hype (I can't really afford it at the minute) but based on Twitter it sounds like, as usual, the game has been released unfinished. It really is unacceptable.

If you want to sign a LB in your lcfc career mode, go with sead kolašinac! Such a beast, pacey and 80+strength. 73 overall.

Yup. Just so you have to keep getting the patch support and (probably) pay for additional DLC.

 

I'm going to sound like a crotchety old fart here, but online console gaming and direct online support has made the videogame industry the biggest racket going. No need to release one product for one price - release it in bits and bobs with 'essential upgrades' and then make sure that to be actually competitive online you have to pay through the nose!

 

Especially in the case of FIFA because EA know people can't (or aren't going to) buy any other football game.

Biggest tip from me would be to use the coin boosts from the EA catalogue thing, if you're high enough level you can get a few 1000 coin boosts (lasts for 5 games) so even if you play a few offline matches you can get a few coins to mess around with!

Chemistry is massively important, a bronze team with 100 chemistry plays and feels better than a gold team with 30 I always use futhead to find perfect links so if you want a certain player sometimes you only need one more (same club, nation and league will get you perfect chemistry) to fit them in

Well to be honest, the game faces and chants because that was the main selling point of the game.

What I would definitely expect though is a game that works properly on the PS4 without having to either disconnect from the internet completely or modifying your routers settings (something I'm very comfortable with but most people probably wouldn't be).

just wondering as just seen Man City's one.  :unsure:

 

Going to have a go at making one today whilst I wait for the game to drop through my letterbox
