filbertway Posted 24 October 2014 Posted 24 October 2014 I've literally had my players running away from the ball when I'm trying to tackle people, like the computer is moving your players away from the attacker just because you're winning. You can be running in to make a challenge and all of a sudden your player pulls up and starts moving in a completely different direction to what you are holding on the stick, allowing the player with the ball to just walk past you. I don't know what to suggest then, haven't encountered that myself.

Thats a problem with player switching. When set to auto it often picks the wrong guy first and your movement takes you away from thr ball. Switch to manual

Switch to manual Oh good point, I have switch assistance set to low as well, so the player carries on their natural momentum for a few seconds.

Having rage issues when switching flanks with my wing backs as the always knock it too far even with a tapped volley, passes are also not going to a further reciever on ground pass when you hold it down either so I'll av to go through settings again. Basingstoke Fox Posted 24 October 2014 Posted 24 October 2014 Started a manager mode career with Leicester. Bought Stones, Malanda and Oviedo. Lost the first couple of games but beat Arsenal, Stoke and Palace. Since then I can't buy a win and have just lost two games in a row to last minute goals, one of which after equalising against West Brom in the last minute. Finding World Class difficulty pretty bloody hard! It's the slide tackles. The AI pull off some unreal slide tackles when I'm in attacking positions and I'm just defending the rest of the time. I want to avoid touching the sliders if I can though.
Buggsteam Posted 24 October 2014 Posted 24 October 2014 Sort you fu*(king servers out EA. Winning my game 3-1 on 82mins gone and says the other player disconnected. It put me down as a loss and cost me the title as it said I DNF. I then started league 4 and won my first game. Started playing my 2nd game and the commentators say welcome to the first game of the season. It didn't recognise the first game so three more points lost. Also sort your offsides out. Constantly getting them, even when playing defensive and the most annoying is when you take a long range shot and score but a player offside who doesn't touch the ball and the ref calls it. Also how can Terry keep up with Remy????! Pay a lot of money for the game and xbox live. Get the basics right EA. Sorry rant over

I'll admit that I'm not as good as I use to be and the standard on FUT is better because more people play it but from winning 14 in a row in div 5,4,3 on seasons to not being able to win in Div 6 of FUT is madness. As above, players with a 40 pace/strength difference being able to out do others (Giovinco muscling Bonucci of the ball, players leaving the ball, tackling the opposition and the ball magically staying in their posession, the ball breaking to the oppo every time. etc. etc. etc). I'll admit I'm a sore loser because I used to be top 1000 online out of however many million and because I'm winning more on seasons, I won't pay as much attention to these glaring errors, but even so, I notice that I get some stupid luck sometimes but it just seems the games littered with it on FUT. I also need a decent set of tactics which you can't really do on FUT. Also, the disconnect thing that happen to Finners, happened to me. Didn't even say I'd been disconnected from the servers just that it couldn't contact the servers. Stupid. Not what you need when you're getting you're rage on

Not what you need when you're getting you're rage on yeah i've noticed this. absolutely smashing seasons but stuck in like div6 on fut. for some reason the servers kick me out of fut more as well to the point that I hardly play it now.

Finnegan Posted 25 October 2014 Posted 25 October 2014 If it ever let's me complete my current season then I'm likely about to be relegated from div 5 in fut. I don't think I still believe in scripting, not properly. I'm not sure. But I definitely feel like I'm meant to be relegated this time. I held the division comfortably twice and the third time I almost got promoted. Now I'm on one point with three games to go! Maybe my ELO just jumped up a notch after i almost got promoted though? I don't know. It's easy to get drawn in to all sorts of conspiracy theories because ea are such a dodgy bunch. I wish they'd just admit what happens behind the scenes and show a bit of transparency. The one thing I do now believe, without a shadow of doubt, is handicapping. Having played exclusively with my silver team in seasons, it's definitely more sluggish in tournaments against teams my own level. And when I come up against bronze sides it's awful. It's still harder for me to actually finish than it is for a gold team playing against me, I need four or five chances, they need one. From 30 yards! But I'm deffo smoother, faster, stronger, better passing. In addition, I'm starting to be convinced they do this for chemistry a little now too, which makes that pointless. The guy then scores 5 byline passes that go through the 6 yard box! My whole team seemed like they just gave up!

Mahrez is absolutely terrible on the game as well Yeah same problem it's almost impossible now to score from crosses. On Fifa 14 most of my goals came from headers. On manager mode I'm playing as Leicester so far after seven games I've played seven lost seven! Might have to drop down the difficulty level to semi-pro and at the moment professional mode I'm finding that tad harder compared to fifa 14.

You could be the worst player in the world and up against the best but you will have a few opportunities on goal if you're say 3/4-0 down...

I've played games where everything has gone my way, every bounce and second ball and I've still been beaten by someone who was just better. In lighter news, I just won live on the internet. Probably to an audience of about one. Haha. Except he had a mardy, said sorry to his fans, turned off his stream and started calling me a cvnt. Was brilliant. He was shit. Spent the game trying to dribble through my whole silver team with Costa and slating Fabregas. He didn't like my team but I think I kept it pretty dignified. Lots of passing, minimal pace abuse. Meanwhile he literally played with one tactic. Give it to Costa. If I was that shit I wouldn't be giving running commentaries live on the Web.

My girlfriend sat behind me horrified as one of them gave me a torrent of abuse for not playing "soccer" properly.
