Regards the assists, once you get used to turning them off you're definitely better without. Pass assist frequently picks the wrong player and shot assist regularly picks out the keeper.

Don't think they're as big help as you make out. I turned it off and beat HEGGSY, who had it on, the other day. For fairness sakes I have to add, we're pretty balanced and he's beaten me as much as I've beaten him.

If you lost six nil you were probably just playing shit.

I will admit I was about 8 beers deep at this stage, to be honest it was just the shots. I can pretty much handle anything else. I think his conversion rate from long range was about 70-80% in that game haha.

Played against Musa for the first time tonight, boy's rapid!

First ever game yesterday. Leicester vs Mexico (very realistic).

I won 2-0. Mahrez header and Nugent 1vs1 (very realistic).

No idea about defending, first red card, Wasilewski (I'm surprised!). Second red card, Morgan. I still won thanks to the "Park the bus" tactic.

I love park the bus, it's hilarious. I generally only use it when the opposition has an attack of something like Ibarbo, Sau, Rossi or Emenike, Doumbia, etc. Or ****ing Lukaku.

But it cracks me up watching people not have a clue what to do.

I find it balances things out a bit. I see where Ash is coming from on the handicapping issue. I feel my silver side are a bit crisper against five star teams but they're still a silver side. I still can't finish from everywhere like they can or just brush off their strikers like Kompany, Luiz etc do to mine.

All in all I feel justified. lol

I did do it in a silver tournament game and just lumped long balls for Esswein (yeah HEGGSY, I went for it) to chase and then I felt like a cvnt though. Haven't done that again.

Who decided that Aiden McGeady should be the best player on the game? Outrageous!

Just jockey and stand fairly still. Nine times out of ten I find most kids just dribble in to you.

I mixed my controller settings up a bit. I used to have manual passing but it's ridiculously difficult to put a quick, accurate move together. It's good for slow, methodical play and the odd pass that the CPU won't spot, but online especially, one slightly misplaced pass can be a disaster.

I have:

Passing - assisted - for the reasons described above.

Shooting - semi - never got along with manual shooting. When you think about it, the goal is such a small section of the screen that even the tiniest movement of the stick will determine whether you're aiming at the right corner or the left one. It'd work better on a bigger controller, but an Xbox/PS controller is just too dainty for such precise movements.

Crossing - semi - same principle. Rotate the stick a couple of degrees too far either way and it's either a clearance or a goal kick. Your best bet on manual is to just aim for the penalty spot when you're level with it, but not all crosses require that placement.

Long balls - manual - more time to think about it than a short pass, so you can set yourself and make sure you're getting your placement right. Sometimes you'll want to fire the ball into space too, which assisted settings wouldn't let you do.

Through balls - manual - for those balls that assisted passing won't spot. If you see a striker running through a small gap that you think you can slot it through, then now's the time for the manual pass to shine.

Started spotting more afros on pro clubs. I've never played a game with someone with an afro who wasn't a bastard.

Why don't people pass the ball, it is fun..

Pretty much the same as you apart from passing is on semi. I think I hit corner flag more than the target when I had shooting on fully manual haha.

anyone else having the 'no head' problem on psn when they update squads / download match day squads?

Just noticed that too. When playing with Leicester, the only one who has a head is Albrighton. I guess that means gamefaces are on their way. Either that or they've modelled it on our match yesterday. Our players did kind of lose their heads and play shit.

Just played Derby online. Went 2-0 up and lost 4-2. The other guy had 3 shots on target and a penalty.

The annoying thing though was that their fans had the 'boys in blue' song on here. Which they took from our fans and we get no songs on the game lol.

Anyone finding seasons completely unplayable tonight? Random disconnects and navigating to any of the pause menu options results in a server error and a loss recorded. Happened in the last 5 matches from drawing/winning positions which has resulted in me being relegated to division 6. RAGE!!!!

Also when entering in to a seasons match, any else have the keeper and player having a training drill from the keepers position, but unable to control either player?

Something has definitely changed, seasons seems a lot faster than before. Does anyone know if any patches have been released recently?

I'm on Xbox 1 btw...

I'm on xbone. Played a game earlier and won, would have taken me three points off promotion to division four with one game left.

Crashed out after the game, kicked me out of servers, immediately logged back in, told me I quit, gave me points for holding division but marked me down as a loss and gave me DNF penalty.

Standard ea.

yeah i've just got on and found this. thought they'd made ulloa black for a min, celebrations are weird as fvck without the heads.

Giving up on UT now. Fed up of winning matches and them being kicked off the server directly after the match meaning I don't get my coins, get knocked out the tournament and damage my DNF rating.

Shambles.

Wow fingers crossed!

Anyone elses UT trade pile etc knackered tonight?

I genuinely like Fifa 15, yes it has some bugs (when does an EA game not) but the gameplay is rewarding when you get to grips with it, next gen that is

Oh and I can't get enough of that Kwabs - Walk song, it's on the soundtrack, I really like it

Could just be a problem with the non-scanned generic faces, rather than meaning our player faces are on the way.

I can't stop playing this game, and I do enjoy it for the most part, but the gameplay does have issues which are becoming more and more constant.

Players clattering into each other, switching to players and it taking an eternity for them to get going, the obvious kick off glitch.

It's now getting a bit boring playing these paid for teams of superstars as well. I checked on eBay last night and there was a premier league squad of 23 going on there and the bidding was up to £250??! Surely the whole point of UT is to start from the bottom and earn yourself a decent team.

Oh, and some of the refereeing decisions are farcical. You literally can't touch them in the box sometimes.

I'll still be playing it constantly until the next one comes out though lol
