For me our best chance was in 2001, home quarter-final whilst sixth in the league against a Division Two team, it couldn't have been set up more to get into a semi-final then who knows? Just get through tomorrow, see the draw then evaluate our chances. Best chance was 1997, when in the 5th round a dodgy penalty in a replay v Chelsea stopped us going into a quarter final line up with Chesterfield, Wrexham, Portsmouth, Sheff Wed, Wimbledon, Derby and Boro.

Jake Humphrey was reading out the results after the Liverpool vs Spurs game in midweek and he said something along the lines of "First half goals from Koscielny and Walcott made it a comfortable night for Arsenal against Leicester". He's a bellend, even if he was fed the wrong information.

ADK Posted 14 February 2015 Posted 14 February 2015 No point arguing. I think we have a great chance but you are basically arguing over what a "great chance" is. Perhaps "genuine chance" would be a better way to describe it. There isn't a team left in the draw I don't feel we could hope to beat.

That just means that's where people have been putting their money on, not that the bookies themselves think that we are more likely to stay up than we are to win the cup.

I hope Bradford progress a stage further, after their heroics against Chelsea, they simply need to advance. Very likable outfit. And I favour Middlesbrough because I'd like the amount of Premier League teams reduced should we be able to proceed.
