There have been lots of posts about driving and travelling gripes, I thought we could have a special place to bellyache about the travel experiences.

Today and for the umpteenth time I had a conflict with a driver who failed to indicate her intentions while negotiating a roundabout meaning I was halfway out when she came round to take the exit after mine. I assumed that, because she was positioned in such a way and was not indicating her intention, that she was going straight on, i.e. taking the exit before mine. I was driving an artic and once commited it.s not easy to abort when 20 feet of truck is already across the road. She she had to brake and was honking like a demented woman and throwing the usual hand gestures as if it was my fault.

It only take a bit of thought and consideration and application of decent driving standards.

Driving down the m69 this morning and the inside lane was comfortably the least populated of the three. I don't know why people are so afraid to venture out of the centre lane on motorways.

Teenagers on bicycles acting like they were cars, and being utter prats to boot. Rather than riding at the side as you're supposed to, they were riding right in the middle of the road, popping wheelies and weaving in and out of oncoming traffic on a busy road. Surprised they didn't get hit.

That is a pet hate of mine, so many drivers do it as well!

But was she indicating left to take the exit before you? Wouldn't you assume that no indicator assume they're going to stay on the roundabout?

i've never really understood why people get so angry driving. just chill out, put a good song on and drive. occasionally i slow down or try to annoy drivers that are clearly impatient annoying stupid fúcking nob jockeys but other than that i don't really care what happens on the road as long as i get where i want to go and nobody dies.

The usual c-unit in a BMW/Merc/Audi who has to blast around at 55 in a 30 swerving in and out of traffic, only to get stopped at traffic lights every 30 seconds and still gets into Leicester at the same time.

Some chav c*nt in a Micra last night was in the lane to go straight ahead on the roundabout and I was in the right (going right). I could tell he wanted to go right so I wellied it and said c*nt actually tried to force me off the road - assuming he either wanted a fight, was in a stolen car or was too pilled up to give a shit. Not wanting to be involved in a collision I braked, then tailgated him for half a mile with my full beams on to let him know I wasn't pleased.

Today - just the usual arseholes on Oxford street leaving it till the very last second to get into the correct lane to go through the underpass. What is it about that stretch of road? The amount of people there that think using an indicator means you're free to do as you please is astounding

My top tip is to live close enough to work to walk there.

Never get stressed over the shitness of cars, trains, buses etc.

I do routinely want to murder pavement cyclists though so I don't get it all my own way

You get those annoying fat people that can't be content with just being as wide as three people but actually waddle from side to side taking up the entire pavement.

People who can't be bothered to indicate, it just really annoys me especially when you're waiting to turn right at a junction and you could go but there's are car coming from the right so you wait for them to pass and then they turn down the junction you're coming out of without indicating. I know it's only holding you up a few seconds, It's just that indicating isn't a difficult task and it makes everything flow better.

Try driving on the road. :)

What's our view on recognition for allowing others to pass ;)

A wave of the hand or a thumbs up if I want to mix it up a bit.

People who get to close to the back of your car and don't back off.

People who are on the phone with not a care in the world for other road users.

People who don't acknowledge you when you wait for them/let them pass. Makes my bloody piss fizz.

This.
