Pearson and Ulloa nominated for Manager/Player of the Month.

Pearson nominated along with Warnock, Koeman and Mourinho. Ulloa named plus Pelle, Schneiderlin, Di Maria, Sakho and Jedinak.

Koeman should take manager I think, di maria will end up with player. How are they decided? Is it some sky sports news vote bullshit or "an independent panel of experts" of what?

Di Maria for player (how Costa's not on there I'd love to know) & Warnock for manager.

Warnock took 7 points in September. That's as many as anyone took.

EDIT; Shows what I know. Didn't realise Southampton won all three.

Probably Koeman then.

Pearson won't win it though he had a very good month. He'd have taken it if we'd won at Palace.

I vote Sean Dyche for managing to organise a defence the likes of Cannavaro and Nesta can only sit and admire.

There has to be perception with everything though. Costa has banged the goals in, yes, but he cost around £30million. Players like Ulloa cost a hell of a lot less and weren't ever expected to have this many goals so far - like Michu the other season.

Costa has been far and away the best player in the league so far, money shouldn't come into it Sean.

Koeman and Pelle for me.

Southampton have been a revelation compared to their early season expectations. Both individuals merit the respective awards.

Koeman and Di Maria being the most deserving I think.

this. from the list no doubt.

but how costa is not on that list I have no idea.

money or no money. you still have to do it on the pitch.

I've heard a few people use this as an argument for So'ton being revelatory this year, but I will always maintain that those words better describe the sheer ignorance of the morons who get paid to talk and write about football.
