foxfanazer Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Which of our current crop of players do you look forward to watch the most and why? For me it has to be Jamie Vardy. He epitomises everything I love about this club. The story he has coming from Non league to the prem. Struggling in his first season here to terrorising United. An honest, hard working lad with unbelievable pace and bullish confidence. Love seeing his name in the line up
ScouseFox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 probably mahrez i reckon. always sense he could go past 3 or 4 men in an instant every time he picks up the ball. vardy is a shout though. he's replaced dyer in the every time he gets the ball, no matter where it is or how many men are around him the whole ground goes "goooo onnnnnnn" as if he's suddenly going to spin his man, dart past two more defenders, get to the last man, skin him and finish it off every single time he gets the ball. so much excitement from the fans every time a clearance even falls somewhere near him. gets classic shouts of advice from sections of the crowd too, such as "run!!!" or "do em jamie!"
Dan Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Mahrez. It's just a personal preference that I like to watch players who can dribble. Mahrez is the best dribbler I've seen at Leicester. His agility is ridiculous. Add this to his pace, his two-footedness and his eye for a pass and you've got one hell of a player. Vardy runs him a close second. Since developing a first touch and composure in front of goal he's become everything I want in a Leicester forward.

I'm one of those people! Every time Lloyd got the ball, no matter where he was on the field it would be 'skin him lloyd' Yeah Mahrez can beat certainly beat a man
steveherbe Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Deano & Koch for me. You can't beat a steady player
foxfanazer Posted 16 October 2014 Author Posted 16 October 2014 Deano & Koch for me. You can't beat a steady player7/10 all day long

Every time Lloyd got the ball, no matter where he was on the field it would be 'skin him lloyd' Yeah Mahrez can beat certainly beat a man haha yeah we were all guilty of it. think i said it on here a while back but i don't think any footballer has ever been expected to do so much every time he got the ball vardy has now replaced him though, noticed at the burnley game when kasper made a quick clearance that didn't even go particularly close to vards, he started bailing towards it and people in the kop were up on their feet as if he was about to score . think the ball went straight out for a throw in!

He reminds me of a dog chasing a stick
Thracian Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Vardy - he's quick, strong and relentless. He just doesn't give a toss for anyone's reputation and there's no such thing as a lost cause. He's a defender's nightmare.
Babylon Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 I think we can say Vardy and Mahrez and just close the thread. I just wish Knockaert had a couple more yards of pace as he has more natural ball skills than anyone else.

Maybe I should've said who do you enjoy to watch the most.Love watching DD control a game, love seeing Moore and Morgan throwing themselves in front of shots and when Kasper is on it he's class
Larry_LCFC Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Vardy and Mahrez. I love abit of pace and players who charge at the opposition.
Crinklyfox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 I like watching players who take defenders on so agree with the Vardy and Mahrez selections. I like Knocky for the same reason, he loses the ball more than the others but still has the determination.
ScouseFox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 yeah 6 months ago it'd have been knockers all day. i love his enthusiasm for the game as well as his ability on the ball. great to watch, just haven't seen much of it this season which is a shame.
Corky Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Used to be Lloyd, you had no idea if he would blaze the ball wildly away from goal, ping it in the corner, drill it straight at a player or play a perfect cross. That suspense was great. Now it's Vardy, pure pace and drive, normally a chance created, a goal or a penalty.
GingerrrFox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Danny Drinkwater. It's like having a shitter version of Paul Scholes in a Leicester kit. Magic.
Nick Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Cambiasso - it's his off the ball movement that separates him from everybody else - he knows where he's going to pass/put the ball well before he receives it. I just seem to sit there in awe with a dumb smile on my face watching him on the pitch.
bovril Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Last year it was James or Drinkater. Hopefully this year it'll be Cambiasso. All time would be Muzzy.
Stadt Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Ulloa, isn't exciting as such but his touch and how simple he makes everything is good to watch.
steveherbe Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Surprised no-one's mentioned Hammond yet. See 5th post in!
Danizen Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 GTF. Twice last season (against Bolton and Brighton) he did an absolute pitch perfect Cruyff turn that left me breathless.
