Danno Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Love watching Jeff Schlupp's shots go out for a throw in every week.
broughtonblue Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Liam, purely because he's a young lad making his way in the game (and doing it very well!) and because he's one of our own
Leicesterpool Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Probably Vardy for me he's player you just don't know what to expect from him, he's a striker with a few surprises, his pace must be frightening for defenders. He certainly has developed within the last two years, when he first arrived at the club he looked like he was playing three levels two high but now!? wow what player!
kingfox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Matty James, love watching him in top form, can do everything.
VLC86 Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 GTF. Twice last season (against Bolton and Brighton) he did an absolute pitch perfect Cruyff turn that left me breathless. Probably left him breathless as well.I would go with Kingy, sometimes he reminds me of a young Zidane.
lcfcsnow Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Ulloa, isn't exciting as such but his touch and how simple he makes everything is good to watch. His touch has been appaling the last few matches.
Leeds Fox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 James, I just find it fascinating, albeit last season, how much work he does off of the ball. Closing the oppositions options off before we've even lost possession. Constantly running, allowing others to go forward confident that Matty had it covered.
LCCFox96 Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 I love watching De Laet being played into space on the overlap and just tearing down towards the byline. Used to enjoy watching for Wasyl's sly kicks and elbows as well! For raw pace and dribbling ability, as people have already said, it has to be Vardy and Mahrez respectively though.
Unabomber Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Konchesky, I love the way he runs with his elbows out.
Littletoe Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Danny Drinkwater for pulling the strings in the midfield, the way he opens up the channels reminds me of Scholes! For pace and efficiency, has to be Vardy and Mahrez!!!
Charl91 Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Last year it was James or Drinkater. Hopefully this year it'll be Cambiasso. All time would be Muzzy. I went to that celebrity thing at the KP last week just to see Muzzy and Steve Walsh play. He is still a class act. Walsh also scored from a corner, surprise surprise.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 The ultimate man-crush thread…..Matty But I can't deny the smile on my face when I see Vards on the team sheet, but Cambiasso is heading the same way!
iamafox Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Vardy, just because he runs tirelessly and can be a thorn in opposing sides.
chrishlcfc Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Mahrez this season. Heskey when he played for us was simply brilliant to watch.
ElusiveEd Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Conrad Logan. It's like watching a dumb donkey following a carrot baited stick. It amuses the fvck out of me knowing he's never going to get there yet he just keeps plodding along thinking it's going to happen.
Filbert_Ross Posted 16 October 2014 Posted 16 October 2014 Vardy - he's quick, strong and relentless. He just doesn't give a toss for anyone's reputation and there's no such thing as a lost cause. He's a defender's nightmare. Love it.
cjslcfc Posted 17 October 2014 Posted 17 October 2014 I like to watch different players for different reasons. For pure excitement it's Vardy and Mahrez as they are our most dangerous players. For pure beast-like defending it's Wes. For laughing in the face of the opposition winger when he tries to outsprint the defender, it's De Laet. For sheer calmness and class it's Cambiasso. For metronomic football, it's DD. For a foul or two it's DEANNNNOOOOO!
Rob1742 Posted 17 October 2014 Posted 17 October 2014 Different slant on this, but it's really good to go and watch the U18's. I used to watch years ago and saw how brilliant the likes of Julian Joachim, Emile Heskey, Tony Thorpe, Steffan Oakes etc are. Then when they break through, it means much more and is a great way of watching talent develop. I understand we have at least three at the moment that are very special and if you want to look back in years to come and remember the times when you watched them before they made it, it is well worth doing. We missed out on Tony Thorpe, we released him and he ended up at Bristol City, Luton and QPR, but you could tell he was special. Great experience and if I am honest watching them come through is better than watching the first team. And it's free. I once watched either Heskey or Joachim (mind playing tricks) pick up the ball in our own half, take it through the entire field then slot it under the keeper. Normally after a goal people clap, but in this instance everyone just turned and looked at each as if to say " wow, we have something very special here"
