Harry - LCFC Posted 27 October 2014 Posted 27 October 2014 I've got a rough idea from the title but what's it about exactly?
Jimmy Posted 27 October 2014 Posted 27 October 2014 probably British Asians in Leicester, maybe Somali's down St. Matthews estate too
lcfcnsk Posted 27 October 2014 Posted 27 October 2014 http://www.channel4.com/info/press/news/c4-follows-up-award-winning-make-bradford-british-in-leicester
johnny the fox Posted 27 October 2014 Author Posted 27 October 2014 Trailer I saw showed Asian people saying there are too many immagrants coming into the country... nowt to do with race..
stevelcfc Posted 27 October 2014 Posted 27 October 2014 If its anything like c4's normal quality it will be sponsored by the BNP in association with Nottingham Forest FC.
DennisNedry Posted 27 October 2014 Posted 27 October 2014 If anything Steve, British TV is always very positive in portraying multiculturalism. Wasn't that show 'No immigrants here' or something similarly named about an ethnically diverse street in Manchester on Channel 4?
Guest MattP Posted 28 October 2014 Posted 28 October 2014 If its anything like c4's normal quality it will be sponsored by the BNP in association with Nottingham Forest FC. I always thought C4 have come across as very pro 'multi-cultural' in the things they have produced.
Nick Posted 28 October 2014 Posted 28 October 2014 Looks interesting - anybody know what time/day is this on? http://sioeeu.wordpress.com/about/ Well that's fairly scary, Vossen. I always thought C4 have come across as very pro 'multi-cultural' in the things they have produced. Yeah I thought this too.
MPH Posted 28 October 2014 Posted 28 October 2014 putting the issue of immigration to one side, something the most central city in England surely cant be held responsible for, I love the fact Leicester is so multicultural.. Yes you'll get a few idiots on all sides... i would however be a bit wary of any tv show channel four tries to produce on this subject as they will probably look for some quirky characters who will possibly only entrench the views of some absent mided people deeper into the bigotry based belief system they already hold.
StanSP Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 I'd have gone with somewhere like Luton.No. Everyone should avoid Luton at all costs if they can.
Bert Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 There's gonna be some sort of uproar and complaints about this I would imagine.
GingerrrFox Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 I imagine the biggest uproar will come from the 2nd Generation Indian Migrant telling a Somalian lady that she doesn't want any more people let in the country.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 I imagine the biggest uproar will come from the 2nd Generation Indian Migrant telling a Somalian lady that she doesn't want any more people let in the country Why would that be an uproar, I would have no issue telling me they do not want anymore immigrants in Britian. Infact alot of 1st gen immigrants would say the same, the fact is we are all believe Britian has a problem with the way immigration has been handled, I personally believe we need immigrants that fill Britian's requirements and needs, for example lap dancer, and strippers of sufficient quality

You'd shag a donkey in drag if it'd stand still long enough.
absolutelegend Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 I imagine the biggest uproar will come from the 2nd Generation Indian Migrant telling a Somalian lady that she doesn't want any more people let in the country. Why? Times change, so should immigration policies.I believe we (the uk) should have the power to flex our immigration quotas according to our situation/needs at any given time. Also, not sure why one being Somali and one Indian would be at all relevant.

Also, not sure why one being Somali and one Indian would be at all relevant. The reason I said those 2 ethnicities is, that is what happens in the show. I just meant that in many circles it will be construed as hypocritical.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 October 2014 Posted 29 October 2014 Like you're fussy. You'd shag a donkey in drag if it'd stand still long enough. We need better quality donkeys in this country for sure!!
johnny the fox Posted 29 October 2014 Author Posted 29 October 2014 We need better quality donkeys in this country for sure!! Here's a tip, always have pocket full of carrots..it distracts them.. and makes "gaining entry " so much easier..
MattGamble92 Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 Although we obviously have a lot of immigrants, I feel like we have far less problems with that than the likes of Bradford and Luton.
