suffolk fox Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Away from home unless your a top top team you are not going to get many chances anyway, its just been the case away from home at the moment that when we do create a chance we have not taken it. For example Matty James against Newcastle that goes in we win 1-0, Palace Vardy takes his chance we get something out of the game You raise valid points however, you can't ignore the oppositions goals which were scored? All hypothetical but Newcastle we would have drawn 1 1 Palace we would have lost 2 1. Admittedley if either had been scored it is hard to envisiage what may have happened. However, the way we set up tells me that if we ever took the lead away from home we would get deeper and deeper until everyone was back in and around the penalty area defending, i was always taught the best form of defence is to attack. Away from home we rarely do that. A loss is a loss you still get no points give it a go create chances score some who knows you could end up winning or drawing? Play dull, ten men at least behind the ball you may lose 1 0 or more but you still lose? Creating naff all chances and looking poor.
Raj Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Southampton are second and they'll be dreading us coming down there, they can't lose and we can't win-custom made for a shock, it's what we do, i've already stuck £50 on us to win that's how confident i am!I'll have some of what your on matey!!!Personally im gonna make sure im too busy to listen to the radio or catch the latest score..think that'll be better for my general well being and all around me!!!

Crazy Kop Corner Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Schmeichal De Laet Was Wes Schlupp Drinkwater James Cambiasso Mahrez Vardy Ulloa We need to start playing our own game with an awareness of the oppositions threat - Not set ourselves up to try and only nullify. Do we know how many we've sold for tomorrow?
Wycombe Fox Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 My mate got me two tickets in with the Southampton fans - one for myself and one for my son. My son now can't come so I'm sat on my own in a 'home' section. I don't believe it can get any worse so I'm going for a totally robberific 1-0 win for City. Under the cosh all game only for Nuge to come on and score a late winner.
saintsontherise Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Well you've predicted pretty much every outcome so you could be right maybe I should've come on and just said we'll do you 4-0 then... just giving you our viewpoint and perspective of the game - as you know, football is unpredictable so until full time, all we can do is speculate
saintsontherise Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Whilst I can't see past a very comfortable win for you, that is a little extreme to say the least . We managed to keep Chelsea at bay for 70minutes at the Bridge and they've all but won the title already, as well as picking up a clean sheet and win at Stoke; aside from that we've been very poor away from home. As you say, if you take the lead I think it'll be very tough for us to come back, if not impossible. I'd imagine we'll try and frustrate you for as long as possible and hope to nick a goal on the counter, ala Stoke, but keeping you lot at bay will be a lot tougher. I hope and pray we can come out with something, but i've almost wrote this off and thinking of Sunderland onwards. If anything is consistant about Leicester though, it's that we're incosistant ! It may seem extreme to outsiders but we've seen how our team has played every game for the 90 minutes. Even over the summer, the majority of our fans were calm and confident of having a good season, the meltdown hype was largely down to the media and the journey we've been on and the long-term plans in place meant I was always confident that the wheels weren't going to fall off. We know we will slip at some point and it may even be tomorrow but we have a togetherness and will stick together. Nobody is getting ahead of ourselves, but we can all dream right? finishing above liverpool, spurs & united is what we're all hoping for, regardless of league position

lgfualol Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/nov/07/southampton-leicester-city-match-preview I never figured Mahrez for a central Mid
The Doctor Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/nov/07/southampton-leicester-city-match-preview Mahrez at cm and cambiasso at centre-back? Christ, what a load of guff. They could have at least checked the players positions first...
Leicester Lass Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Mahrez at cm and cambiasso at centre-back? Christ, what a load of guff. They could have at least checked the players positions first... If you need to check the position Esteban Cambiasso plays in you shouldn't really be employed as a football writer.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Mahrez at cm and cambiasso at centre-back? Christ, what a load of guff. They could have at least checked the players positions first... Maybe if we did that, we could do better than we have been.
tcrofts Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 If you need to check the position Esteban Cambiasso plays in you shouldn't really be employed as a football writer. They also have GTF as a potenitial sub!
reders11 Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Anybody know how many foxes traveling down to the game tomorrow?
ronnup Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Been traveling Central America for 10 weeks. Missed Man U, Stoke, Arsenal etc in Cuba. No media. Since being in the 'media friendly' world I've seen four losses. Live on sky. Free. can we please turn the corner now...it's been humiliating this last 4 weeks. Hideous performances.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Come on Leicester! Let's have a decent performance today!
Southern Fox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Free ticket going for today if anyone wants
Dickov22 Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I think NP will pick the same side and formation as last week unfortunately. He thinks we played well. Probably see Ulloa return for Vardy or Nugent but otherwise it'll be the same terrible formation with no width.

foxfanazer Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Buzzing for today even though I'm not expecting a result. We have to be one of the most unpredictable teams in English football so if anyone can cause an upset today it's us. For anyone travelling to the game, get behind the players. COYB!!
Unabomber Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Feel so weird about this game, I would be delighted should we pull off a shock win. I would like to see Mahrez playing.
Stevie Lcfc Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Best XI please. Anything less than a 5-0 defeat is respectable. Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Moore Konchesky Mahrez King Cambiasso Drinkwater Ulloa Nugent swop Nugent for vardy:)
Basingstoke Fox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I haven't felt the pre match tension like this since the United game. Properly nervous and up for this one! Think it's because it's my local game. Would bloody love a result here!
