Schlupp...

I am just curious what most people think of him.

I know he lacks composure a lot of the time but we always seem to be a lot more threatening with him on the left. Also I think he and Konchesky have a good understanding.

With his pace and also Mahrez playing I think it would take players out the game to allow the pace of Vardy to actually count. Like at the beginning of the season.

I think he has a lot of a threat to offer.

Like when all my Forest fan mates would slag of Dyer when they saw some of his misses and I would always say that he is an absolute threat and you just don't see him enough to understand.

It shows our lack of depth that he's anywhere near the first team squad tbh. All pace and nothing else, puts his head down and never looks up and gives the ball away constantly. Makes Lloyd Dyer look compsed and has a footballing brain.

Not good enough for a lower half Championship side, let alone a Premier League one.

The hopeless miss against Everton sums him up. Pace, but no quality whatsoever.

I don't think he is Prem class, but gives us a good option from the bench. But he is young and can get better - He certainly has potential, Sir Alex had him on trial!

I don't think people are doubting he can improve, it's just that how little he's improved since he burst onto the scene 3 or 4 years back means it's just more and more difficult to see him doing so and that he shouldn't be near the first team squad of a Premier League side right now.

Yeah I agree - I don't know what is going on with Knocky? surely he should be in front of him?

Awful forward, awful winger

Could be a useful LB, but instead of continuing his development there, Pearson backed Konchesky over the preseason & Schlupp is basically a professional footballer with no position or knowledge to play in one

He needs plenty of games to be able to settle. Once he gets that support then he'll take off. He's still very young give him a break and he'll come good. I'm sure he won't miss a chance like ererton again. Besides he's the only one that offer balance down the left.

Plays well against Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal & Burnley.

One bad performance against Newcastle, and fans call him League 1 standard.

We had no pace today out wide, Schlupp instead of Konchesky would of been ideal.

We definately missed some pace and width, but playing an sprinter with no football brain or ability in the premier league is not the answer. I do not know what was happening between April - when we knew we were to be promoted - and the start of the season but lack of quality recruitment is now showing itself to be a major problem in this area. Schlupp just in case I've not been clear, imo is a very very poor option.

There was a hopeless miss against Swansea too after Kingy's header - it's funny how some people get singled out. Schlupp has his faults but gives vital energy to the side now that Dyer has been so stupidly discarded. Without that energy we've got little chance of getting forward quickly or effectively enough. We're so one sided it's embarrassing - and not even effective from the right where DeLaet has never been the real answer.

Look, Schlupp is terrible. I mean really, really shit. We're in the Premiership now, we can't be playing players just because they have pace.

Get him out of your mind, he is not the answer.

lol no he didn't. He was shit in all of those games.

I think he was average in the championship, and totally out of his depth in the premier league, has pace but does nothing with it, and pace is the only ability he has.

Played well against Arsenal maybe. That's it!

I have no idea why Pearson is playing Konchesky over Schlupp at left back. The side needs some pace, some energy and some muscle.

Get him in.

All this hate towards him, is ridiculous.

Did he have an affair with one of your previous girlfriends or something?

We went up a gear when he came on against Everton, his link up play against Chelsea was excellent, put in a good shift against Arsenal, and was voted second best player in the ratings thread against Burnley.

Schlupp away from home apart from Chelsea in my opinion has been poor, but so has Mahrez, yet fans love him.

This is one of our own players that we're talking about, right? I mean, some of you are so negative towards him, you'd think he plays for Forest. He's been no worse than Liam Moore this season and to most of you, Moore is the best thing since sliced bread.

Could potentially be a good player, but his decision making and delivery is just so poor. If he could get his head up and work out his crossing, he'd be good. Right now though, he's not good enough for this level.
