Shut up Berahino

Looks more like a forearm slap across the chest

Frankly if that's violent conduct then you'd see a sending off at every corner - it's no worse than the normal jostling at any set piece.

Eyes on the ball THE WHOLE TIME.

I was right behind the Dawson incident and it wasn't deliberate and he hardly touched Speroni not like that animal on Saturday .

Speroni went down like a sack of spuds and when he realised he was going to be subbed my god a miracle happened, all of a sudden he jumped up saying he was Ok and didn't want to be subbed.

This is what you get in the Prem, Prima Donnas who go down at the slightest touch but that blatant elbow on saturday was embarrassing for English Football and deep down you know it

Have a word that was in no way, shape or form blatant

Yeah anyone would think he doesn't want Wasyl to get banned.

He used to be a CB, he's trying to rationalise it and put it in a footballing context. If it works and Wasyl escapes a ban it's well done Pearson as far as I'm concerned.

It wont work and he will be banned. All he's done is make himself look like a "balloon head."

I agree, doesn't an elbow require you to actually bend your arm.Berahino is just a whining girl, if it was so bad where's the damage to his face. This is a case of last generation old school footballer versus the diamond earring fannys.

what the f uck no wonder i didn't remember it. that is literally nothing. i give up.

i was expecting (and hoping after the reactions on here) that he'd just walked up to him off the ball and literally flying clotheslined him. he barely touched him.

9 minutes in on the footage on foxesplayer.

That's aggressive defending but for me Was only has eyes for the ball. He doesn't cock his elbow and go for his face. He seems to try and get his arm across the man. It's barely even on the face...

Edit: And away from all this Wasyl talk. How the Fvck did Dorrans not get at least one yellow on Saturday for his persistent fouling to break up play?! And how was there only 4 minutes added on at the end? Their player was down for two mins from 88-90 mins even before counting subs and general time-wasting from WBA.

Not that it really affected the scoreline but it's just so frustrating.

I think it's time for Was to go. He's decent but I don't want players like him at our club. He's disgraceful.

...what are you on about? He's maybe guilty of having his arms a little high - but I wouldn't go as far as saying disgraceful.

It looks from that video as though it was the forearm that caught Berahino, rather than the elbow.

He'll still be banned though.

I think Berahino should be facing punishment here for blatant cheating, trying to get a fellow pro sent off. Gets caught slightly and goes down like he's just been RKO'd.

lol thats a very flattering video you've posted, the angle given on Match of the Day was much better, when you could see Wasyl clearly have a good look and then plant his elbow in his face.

Don't get me wrong I've seen much worse but it's a red if you ask me.

The look was the key.

I think it's a peach of a comment. If he condemned Wasyl then people would slate him for not sticking up for his own players. Can't have it both ways. He's just trying to protect his player and the club, and good on him for that.

Yet so many do, purely to suit their latest argument.

To be fair mate you made yourself look a bit of an idiot when condemning Wasilewski, yet defending Dawson. They were both elbows, both deliberate and there's no place in the game for either of them.
