theessexfox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 First was a top finish, third was atrocious.
Corky Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I'd like to see the first again before fully slating him but I don't think a premier league keeper should be beaten so easily at his near post. It wasn't even in the corner. Aside from that ridiculously lucky to stay on the pitch after cleaning Gerrard out and his attempts for the third made me wish he wasn't on the pitch. The finish was good, I called keeper when the ball was lofted in the air for Lambert. I felt he should've come to catch or punch above Wes.

As for the Gerrard penalty cry, I think Gerrard went down too easily, definite dive for me.
Bamba's Babes Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Losing confidence in him, rapidly. I also don't think Hamer is the solution though.
Clever Fox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Terrible again tonight. Swap him for Marshall in January. Hamer has to given his chance now surely.
Guest MattP Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Looking out of his depth up here. And worryingly tonight neither mistake was due to crossing or his height. He's a selfish bastard as well, going up for a corner at 1-3? Almost as if he thought fcuk the team/score I now want a moment of glory to try and hide the glaring error I made. I can't ever remember a keeper in my life coming up for a corner with a team two down. He was a darling last year, this year you are on a massive contract after holding the club to ransom in the summer. The goodwill is over and the fans are right to demand far better than he is producing.

I was just expecting Sterling to completely skin whoever was on the half way line and walk it into the net.

Abosolute idiot, could have cost us another!
funkyrobot Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. What the **** was he thinking? Abosolute idiot, could have cost us another!Yeh but if u r two goals down in extra time it makes sense to take a risk like that. If that's the most ridiculous thing you've seen then you obviously didn't come and watch city when we had Kevin pressman in goal.
The Blue Moon Posted 3 December 2014 Author Posted 3 December 2014 No Premier keeper would have conceded the third, noone is going to argue with that. It's the same for the first. Not so much the shot getting beaten at the near post, but a top flight keeper would've dealt with the ball in the box beforehand. The biggest shame of the night is that the s**t egotistical c**t didn't get a straight red for taking Gerrard down and given Hamer three games to prove himself. Pearson is too stubborn to drop Kasper, that's why we're going down.
Freesolo Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 he is the worst keeper in the league, sometimes i wonder if its only his name that has been keeping him in goal
RedSoxUK Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I've stuck up for him, but yeah that 3rd goal was atrocious and should never happen. It wasn't even a mistake, just shit goalkeeping. Gerrard though? Naa, that was a dive from Gerrard, the scouse git even jumped before expecting the contact, Gerrard fell in to Kasper. I don't think Hamer is the answer though. P.S I'm glad Kasper went up 1 - 3 down, put pressure on Liverpool, Kasper did it with ease and confidence, and he's got a great head.. remember... Liverpool were sitting back and could of easily killed the game off, but they kept inviting us so why the **** not give us a chance by having an extra man / outfielder, happens every night in Ice Hockey? We need points.
ForzaFerrari Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 As for the third goal...at that time even Mignolet looks better IMO.
saabrian Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 His distribution on Saturday was particularly awful. Kept booting it long into a 50-50 ball or to the opposition instead of playing it short to wide open defenders.

rico Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 performances anywhere else on the pitch like his and he would have been dropped

J.Lisemore Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 We cannot start with the guy next game, we just can't. There's a line and he's crossed it, Hamer deserves a chance now.
