shailen Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 That's how to put a positive spin on something? I think he's under pressure and snapped. Simple as. What's more important is that the club appear to have backed him in the 'no apology' stance. Rather than forcing him to do what he didn't want to do, it seems like they have let him say he's not apologising. Good on him, and them. he has definitely snapped under pressure, but I like that and think it shows he cares more about success than anything. I honestly think its strange and refreshing that they have done so in a politically correct world.
Dr The Singh Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 I apologise for my poor performance on here recently. Sorry to burst your bubble Babs, but you've always been shit on here!!
MC Prussian Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Sorry to burst your bubble Babs, but you've always been shit on here!! We should all "fvck off and die" more often - it has something cathartic about it.
harwich fox Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 If this is true then this is the club shooting itself in the foot big time. The local media is one way the club communicates with the fans if they don't wish to then Radio Leicester should walk away and carry on with Stringer commentating. If Pearson don't like being put on the spot after taking two points from twenty seven then he has a problem. If it becomes two points from thirty six then the Club has a huge problem.Radio Leicester will still be here then and there will be a lot of fans going missing in the forthcoming months. TBH it's poor public relations and shows what the Club's attitude to fans is, best to shut up and ignore people like that when you're in a prominent public position not indulge in some childish slanging match!
Corky Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Over the last ten years football fans have gone from being the most masculine sports fans around to a load of lilly livered pansies desperate to be offended by anything. There's more of a stiff upper lip attitude in an X Factor audience than a football stadium sometimes these days. The worst thing is those offended when a player celebrates against their former club as it is "disrespectful". Oh no, he disrespected us by having the temerity to celebrate a goal he scored for his current team and supporters. But I thought he loved us so much, despite leaving for another club/ more money/ more trophies.

It is very immature now, because of one reporter they are depriving the majority of fans the chance to hear what they have to say.Talking about not wanting negativity around the club, this tit for tat mentality just continues the crap around the club. It's simple, speak to the prat stringer, answer the sensible questions, challenge the shit stirring questions, or refused to answer them, and tell him they are stupid questions. Me as a fan would respect that more, than he's not saying nice things, so we are not going to talk to him.

Yes, so would I...really think about this buddy...it's SO immature it's past all reason isn't it. We have a local radio station where one reporter has pissed the club off so much, allegedly, that the players are refusing to have anything to do with the station anymore. This, I'm afraid, is usually endemic of a club that's struggling a little. When you are playing well, getting results and looking ok, all this nonsense usually stops. Because it is nonsense, all of it.

Because it is nonsense, all of it. Nope. It is endemic of a poor radio coverage. The boycott is temporary and a healthy sign of a team trying to focus on its basics, without getting carried away or influenced by (constant) negativity or nonsense coming from the local radio station. And as for us struggling a little, well, yeah. That's obvious.

It's becoming a joke mate, if this crap is going to go away, it's got to buisness as usual, and don't bite at stringer.Like all people that try and get a reaction, if you ignore the bait, they get bored, same with stringer, if you ignore the stupid questions, he may just stick to asking the football related questions. To be fair, stringer has had a backlash from certain fans defending Pearson, have a feeling he will be very cautious of the questions ask, and might be a bit sheepish.
youglan Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 watched bt sports there are right he got to win at villa or he out there think it wrong to have ago at the fans
tickler28 Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Not impressed with Pearson. I don't think he should have apologised if he'd just said f*** off to the fan but to say f*** off and die needs an apology. Time to go I'm afraid if we lose tomorrow I'll pay for his taxi
SlaneyLCFC Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Very glad he didn't apologise fully agree. The fan is a hornblower and got a reaction for gobbing off. All been blown out of proportion.
dogadug Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 All these threads seem to be full of opinions from those who want Pearson out, yet looking at the polls they are by far in the minority. Looking for attention perhaps?

Dr The Singh Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 I'm doing what Nigel Pearson said and staying at home
steveherbe Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 You've all got this SO wrong, here's what really happened. Nige and a fan were discussing transfer targets, Nige said to the bloke, 'who would you sign, and I'll tell you who I'm going for.' 'Fan' said "Walter Twat" Nige replied "Nah, Firkov N'Di" - apparently he's a Nigerian striker. Walter Twat was an unused sub for Hartlepool last night. Of course, Stringer got the wrong end of the stick and blew it all out of proportion. So can we let it go now?
youglan Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 nigel not the man by the time the man city game comes we could be 7 points from safety need a new man
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 If we don't win at Villa, then HE should stay away from this club. The noose is round his neck, and his horse is moving forward,
Callabinho Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 If we don't win at Villa, then HE should stay away from this club. The noose is round his neck, and his horse is moving forward, Have you thought of staying away?
