dannythefox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Fair play to him, do people expect him not to defend his players.
AyewJoking Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 i like the bit where it says weve won 2 of our last 20 home games in the prem. thats not lazy journalism, he's travelled back in time 10 bloody years!!!
Fox Ulike Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 What a disgrace. Any other person in the country would get most probably fired from their job for verbally abusing a paying customer yet Pearson is still in charge and untouched by his superiors. This is the beginning of the end for him. There are fans out there that pay to see Leicester win and there is nothing wrong with that, so when they aren't getting what they paid for they are well within there rights to moan about poor produce. Very poor Nigel, very poor. Blah blah blah. I would actually pay to see Leicester win. How much is it?
WardyisPukka Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Sam Cunningham @samcunningham 27m27 minutes ago Leicester are investigating the altercation between manager Nigel Pearson and the club's fans in last night's defeat to Liverpool. Jesus christ! move on for everyones sake
Head Honcho Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I don't think the arrogance NP portrays whilst being interviewed helps his case too much. A manager in his position should show a little more humility and take the smug grin off his face.
C-man Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Well he's quick to moan about fans moaning because we haven't won in nine matches but he is incapable of ever holding his hands up and saying "you know what, I got it wrong today and I apologise". Missed all the times he's praised our fans after defeat then? As for Col - if you haven't yet 'warmed' to a bloke who has delivered two league titles and two memorable play-off runs then you never will
Stadt Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Saying the players lack effort is such an outdated view
stevelcfc Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Totally agree with Nige, just Stringer shit stirring, and trying to further his career as he believes that he's the best because he's ran a couple of marathons.
Bunyip Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 What a load of bleating blind sheep . Come off this site and smell the real coffee .
Charl91 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'm going to go to Tesco and call them cvnts. I pay their wages, after all.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Missed all the times he's praised our fans after defeat then? As for Col - if you haven't yet 'warmed' to a bloke who has delivered two league titles and two memorable play-off runs then you never will No I meant this season. His demeanour and how he's coming across is very different. Akin to when we had that awful run last time. He seems frustrated, worried, short tempered. Probably because he is worried.
Raj Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 He does seem increasingly pissed off in interviews. Might be cos he is feeling the pressure...or stringer is really pissing him off!!!
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I think the guy has completely lost it. Knew he was arrogant but now confirmed. Even those who have supported him until now must think twice. He just doesn't get it. I am sure the person or persons who he had words with was probably slagging him off, not the players. I have been writing that I tthink he should go for the last few weeks. But never have I said the players have not been trying to win. What I have said is that he picks them and has bought some into the club. Are now giving them long 4 year contracts and sadly they are not good enough to compete at this level. I would never say they are not trying because I would be lieing. He always has to get the players involved. It is he who in the last few weeks and had sly words about individuals not the supporters. I cannot understand how he could tell a supporter who pays HIS wages top stay away. I can only imagine that the supporter was there before Pearson and will be long after. I have had enough with him HE MUST GO
The Horse's Mouth Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Some people went far too far yesterday. It reminded me of the early days under MON when some were spitting at him That said, Pearson is an arrogant bar-steward who seems to show little humility. Its becoming harder to warm to him. I thought you were Pearson superfan number 1 now adays
hackneyfox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 No I meant this season. His demeanour and how he's coming across is very different. Akin to when we had that awful run last time. He seems frustrated, worried, short tempered. Probably because he is worried. Last season many were claiming that he'd learnt lessons and improved the way he dealt with the press. Pointed out at the time that it's easy to deal with the press when you're winning every week and that we should judge him on how he acted when we lost a few. Looks like we're back to the bad old NFP.
Eddy Kellys Heroes Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Interesting there going to investigate him for what he allegedly said to fans? Misconduct? No compo?
MC Prussian Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I think the fans have been extremely patient with both the team and manager, they haven't really turned on them yet despite some bloody awful performances and decisions by some players and the manager. You don't call the people who pay your wages a Cnut. You also don't tell them to stay at home, we need as. Any in the ground as possible and the manager should be professional enough to rise above it, he should know fans get emotional and passionate especially when they've just spent hard earned money watching us throw another game away. Can't believe that so many on here are excusing him, his reaction clearly isn't the norm as it's making the news. Pretty sure the owners, being in the business they are, appreciate the importance of good customer relations. He's not helping himself. The majority of fans IS still very patient with Pearson, it's only a small minority that give this whole story a bad name. And Stringer's using that for his own benefit. Eternal moaners and mardy old gits who get no joy out of football other than (regularly) shouting abuse at the manager or the players can definitely stay at home. Because they're adding nothing to the atmosphere at all. And for every moaner expelled or abstaining from football, there are other thankful ones stepping in, completing the attendance. Don't think just because you threaten to quit supporting this club, you'll actually do it. All big talk and nothing else. You can leave your "customer" attitude at home. It's poisonous. I bloody hate this sense of entitlement of certain people. Just because you've bought tickets to a sports event doesn't mean you can play big old tw*t for 90+ minutes - or else your regular life must be pretty tragic when you need such an outlet.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 If someone was in your place of work verbally abusing you for just doing you job they would get chucked out the door without a seconds notice. This was started by that person and not Pearson, you'd do well to remember that. You don't pay to watch Leicester win, you pay to watch Leicester knowing very well that you could see your team lose. Especially when you are a newly promoted team. Just as you go to the cinema to watch a film knowing very well you might not actually like it once you've seen it. That doesn't give you the right to abuse the cinema manager, or the director and actors. If you did I'd imagine they would give you exactly the same response, sling your hook. Usual people coming out with their usual half baked clap trap that they have been since Pearson arrived. Utter trash Babs. My other half works within the NHS, and gets verbal abuse every day. The outpatients DON'T get chucked out. She is always saying that she must "rise above it", when responding, in person or on the phone. She would out of a job if she responded likewise The same goes for most RESPONSIBLE other people, but obviously Pearson is not of that ilk, more's the pity.

My other half also works in the NHS and would never tolerate being spoken to like Pearson was last night. Their are strict rules and regulations in place to stop the abuse of hospital staff. I suggest your Mrs has a serious word with her immediate superior as they are really letting their staff down.
youglan Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 sky have it right the board will act after the villa game if we lose he will be gone 10 games without a win poor form that down to the manager

You're comparing the NHS that has a duty of care, completely different to most jobs. So no it's not trash, most places of work would not tolerate abuse to staff just going about their job.
biggs Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 One way to take all the attention away from the players and onto himself. Might do the players some good.
andreibrad Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Pearson shows no brain by making such a statement - I am not surprised there as it is puzzling the why he put together the team formation on Tuesday nigh and not only. So, let's recap: Hardy playing ahead of Ulloa, instead to have Ulloa as the target striker??? So playing the wingers (Schlupp and Mahrez) to cross to whom, Vardy? First half s Schlupp was like in a holiday, barely accelerating after the ball or chasing a Liverpool player (he improved slightly in the second half). We keep playing Schmeichel in goal, while Ben Hamer is more skilled, with better placement and ball handling skills. Mr Pearson should answer this questions before having a go at supporters, which sometimes put the Leicester club ahead food needs or clothes. Babylon Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'd like Stringer to ask Nigel about the high rates of illiteracy amongst our fan base.
