Vicki Vixen Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Trying really hard to be positive...I'm interested who people would nominate for player of the season based on the season to date. The answer that comes to mind is nobody. I can't think of a single player who has excelled. A few fringe players have had a more active role in the first team than expected, like Hammond and Schlupp, but they have been as inconsistent as the rest of the team. It's easy to put candidates forward for worst player of the season, but is there anyone in the squad who has actually played consistently well?
Corky Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'd say King has been the most consistent from his time on the pitch.
ScouseFox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Riyad has looked exciting every time he's played. Ulloa's probably done more good than bad. Morgan until 5 days ago. Cambiasso's been tidy enough without being superb. Struggling after that.
AdamN Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 He's not played a great amount, but on his few showings Wasilewski hasn't really put a foot wrong. Been pretty consistent so far.
Babylon Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Wow tough question, I would have said Morgan up to about 2/3 games ago and now he's had a meltdown. Nobody has been consistent and that's been one of our problems.
Babylon Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 He's not played a great amount, but on his few showings Wasilewski hasn't really put a foot wrong. Been pretty consistent so far. Yeah comedy factor alone I'd go for him, I enjoyed him knocking their players over left right and centre yesterday. :xmaslaugh:
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Cambiasso... easy Sorry couldnt resist..its a tough one..probably King until dropped..
AdamN Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Yeah comedy factor alone I'd go for him, I enjoyed him knocking their players over left right and centre yesterday. :xmaslaugh: If he'd actually chokeslammed Lambert it would have been the icing on the cake!
Fox Ulike Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Yeah Wasly Don't want to put the curses on him but didn't realise quite how good he was until this season.
ScouseFox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 yeah wasyl has looked most comfortable out of the defence in the past 6 weeks, we've been so bad defensively it's hard to claim any of them have had a particularly good season so far though.
lgfualol Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Morgan until lately. Mahrez, Ulloa, King, Wasyl, Schlupp, Vardy, Cambiasso have all been okay most of the time. Hamer was great in his one show.
filbertway Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Riyad! The only person who looks like they could create something on a consistent basis. Was and Cambi would be in there as well. I love his ability to injure players while making it look entirely fair haha.
chapero82 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'd say King has been the most consistent from his time on the pitch. at playing hide and seek?
Monsell1976 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Yeah Wasly Don't want to put the curses on him but didn't realise quite how good he was until this season. It's a hard one, but will go with wasly, been solid since coming in
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'm a bit of a fanboy, but been impressed with James since he's got properly over his injury. Cambiasso also been decent and agree with Wasyl
kingfox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Up until last night Wes. From game time & consistency while playing, then Wasilewski & King.
Ian W LCFC Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I know a lot of people will laugh at me for this, but I'd go with Konchesky. He's solid and very consistent in his performances. He's not a stand out player but a good defender with a lot of experience. Have you noticed how teams often prefer to attack our right back as oppose to Konchesky?
