Langley Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Good on Nigel. I support him 100%. When talking to the SSN journos; "It's probably galvanised the feeling within the camp, for us, the players are exceptionally unhappy with one or two things that happened the other night and thats why they're not speaking to BBC Radio Leicester, because of their reporters gestures the other night". Excellent. Good. Maybe Stringer will shut his trap now.
E-PASS Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 In the heat of the moment with someone on your back you don't think about the exact wording of your response. That makes it an extremely trivial incident. You wouldn't be calling for him to be sacked if you didn't already dislike him. We don't know whether that person had tourettes. Should we be supporting someone who may have wished death upon someone with a disability?
EnderbyFox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Anyone see that little smirk at the end of the video? Absolute quality, that's some Des level smirking right there
Guest MattP Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Good on the players, it's looks even better on the big man if they take the pro-active route here.
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 was on about this season, when fans are against him he was really professional about all the fans abusing him, he couldn't even go the town centre! he just got on with it and never retaliated to them. Yes...still possibly not the best example!
veezeeblue Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 It was on SSN (Sky Sports News). I had to keep pausing the TV whilst I typed it word for word, I may have got some punctuations wrong, commas in wrong places i've just realised regardless it's what he said and I am very happy about this news. How do you feel Stringer? Talking to the club and players is quite an important part of your job isn't it? Can't do that aspect of your job, gonna put doubts over your position is it not? Excellent ... starting to appear on Twitter now Breaking News : Stinger Stung
Footballwipe Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Can't wait for RL to spin this to make the club seem petulant and childish. Good on them, a local radio station needs to get behind the club, not try and spice things up to whore themselves out for a story. Disappointed in Stringer and especially Bourne (heard his interview on Monday, so pathetic.) They need the club more than the club needs them, they should remember that.
Larry_LCFC Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 How is not talking to radio Leicester good on them? Maybe they should grow up a little bit and stop throwing their toys out the pram. It is us they are talking to at the end of the day, radio Leicester is just the means.
lgfualol Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Wow, people abusing our owners? What ****ing cretins.
Happy Fox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 BBC Radio Leicester are so f**king small time.
ScouseFox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 We don't know whether that person had tourettes. Should we be supporting someone who may have wished death upon someone with a disability? hahaha amazing i cannot stop laughing at everything you post. please stay forever.
lgfualol Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k3ZTwl-8sE Unbelievable unprofessionalism. Should've been sacked on the spot. I don't condone swearing, but wishing death upon a fan is unforgiveable. It's not even clear he said that is it?
ousefox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Shows how much the players are behind Nige too which doesn't always seem to be the case at other clubs when things aren't going well
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 We don't know whether that person had tourettes. Should we be supporting someone who may have wished death upon someone with a disability? Let's say you criticised someone at work and another chap came up to you and said "don't criticise, you don't know if that person's depressed or not." Are you a bad person now? We can't be held responsible for not taking into account every minor risk associated with our actions. That's quite a shift from the original topic anyway.
Benji Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 We don't know whether that person had tourettes. Should we be supporting someone who may have wished death upon someone with a disability? So what did you say and do you have tourettes?
whitlock Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Brilliant. Never used to mind Stringer. But he just grates on me, its like he's doing us all a favour - **** off. You are not the face of the fans, you are a bellend. Imagine win, loss or draw, you have to speak with Stringer. Each time, you've got to deal with his shit questions, and then you find out that they have been 'promoting' the 'incident' it would massively piss you off. Respect to big Nige. Is there some type of contract in place that means the club have to be interviewed after each game and at training etc.?
cjslcfc Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 How is not talking to radio Leicester good on them? Maybe they should grow up a little bit and stop throwing their toys out the pram. It is us they are talking to at the end of the day, radio Leicester is just the means. Or Radio Leicester reporters could learn that they need to go about things the right way? Just because they are local radio doesn't mean they're untouchable and LCFC should talk to them no matter what. Hopefully this episode will make them learn that. Also, now we are in the Premier League RL are no longer that important. There is coverage all over the place. National newspapers, national TV companies. We can get what we want from any of them as well. To be honest their lower importance is probably the reason Stringer and co. are looking to make a big deal out of things and try to get a story.
Guest MattP Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 hahaha amazing i cannot stop laughing at everything you post. please stay forever. It's so brilliantly funny I'm almost certain it's Moosebreath on the wind up, fantastic effort whoever is behind it!

How far are they gonna take it though? I tune in on the way home from matches to hear player interviews in the immediate aftermath. Are they going to ignore RL on Sunday? They may be blanking Stringer, but they're also blanking the fans, which is out of order in my opinion.
veezeeblue Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 How is not talking to radio Leicester good on them? Maybe they should grow up a little bit and stop throwing their toys out the pram. It is us they are talking to at the end of the day, radio Leicester is just the means. It's the only means for audio and live coverage for many ... that's the problem ! If RL are to have a monopoly on LCFC live coverage and privilaged access then thay should avoid biased over critical posturing and sensationalist like coverage as it will offend a vast amount of people who have to use these means to follow their club. If you want to hear trite shite about your club you can buy a tabloid
lgfualol Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 I want a win more than ever now. If this galvanizes the team, like I bet it would, we should go for the kill on Sunday. Make every journalist stfu
Corky Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Durham is asking whether Pearson should keep his job at 4pm with Gough. How would he have reacted when Clough was belting pitch invading fans?
Matt Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 How far are they gonna take it though? I tune in on the way home from matches to hear player interviews in the immediate aftermath. Are they going to ignore RL on Sunday? They may be blanking Stringer, but they're also blanking the fans, which is out of order in my opinion. Blame Stringer, Bourne and RL then, not the club, Pearson or the players. Ok you won't hear it in the immediate aftermath, but if you watch MOTD/SSN you will still see and hear them in the immediate aftermath.
Fox Ulike Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 We don't know whether that person had tourettes. Should we be supporting someone who may have wished death upon someone with a disability? Ian is that you?
