Pearson to Face Investigation?

When you listen to stringer interview matty james after the game , you can tell that all stringer is interested in is nigel's reaction to the game in the dressing room and matty just kept deflecting the answers back to  how the game went and standard answers. I got the feeling that he was very protective of nigel, which is obviously how it should be.

How far are they gonna take it though? I tune in on the way home from matches to hear player interviews in the immediate aftermath. Are they going to ignore RL on Sunday? They may be blanking Stringer, but they're also blanking the fans, which is out of order in my opinion.

I doubt it's a permanent thing! I do the same thing RE: player and manager interviews but currently don't get the service I need due to Stringer's lack of ability to build a working relationship with the manager and get the answers we actually want. I think many are right in criticising the radio station and its main reporter, they're not above criticism and are effectively damaging the relationship between the manager and the fans. It's not all their fault as Nige could be more open but I like his approach and the idiot Stringer should stop searching for a controversial headline/story and try and get relevant answers. His failure to build this important relationship with the manager is just not good enough.

Wow, people abusing our owners?

What ****ing cretins.

After they got us out of all that debt, I wonder if they gave a load of verbal back, or just ignored it and walked away

I Imagine they jumped into their luxury chopper and laughed themselves silly flying off into the distance.

Diddums, so because you're so in demand for their droning, generic interviews they should drop their stand and talk.

You could ways read the paper, watch the national TV or regional TV for these interviews. Besides, you don't have a right to hear what the players have to say? In fact, they're so restricted in what they can and do say that it's better off not hearing them.

I love our owners style

I don't know why but I pictured them stroking a cat whilst flying off, bond villain style. Perhaps to a secret house in a volcano.

lol Yes, I am the only fan who tunes into RL to hear post match content, and yes they should drop their stand just because of me. Lets forget about the thousands of others that do the same. Or maybe you should just grow up with your childish responses.

We don't know whether that person had tourettes. Should we be supporting someone who may have wished death upon someone with a disability?

Wasn't sure if you were a troll until now, but you've well and truly blown it with this ridiculous comment.

For me (I know..going against the grain again...), the fans were bang out of order for giving Pearson the idiotic shite they did.

BUT Pearson should not have said what is reported he said..he too was out of order. A reaction i can understand. To say what it is reported he said, I can't.

Again, I'm afraid, in my eyes, he's shown both a lack of control and class, when he's in a position to retain that control.

The fans....frankly fook em..they aint fans.

agreed with what col says, to get shit you should be able to give shit back but it is unprofessional to say what he said. if he'd have said "give it a rest, go home you balloonhead" that would've been great, he'd have put him in his place and nobody would have a leg to stand on re. a complaint. cos he's sworn he's put his foot in it a bit.

as my posts on here may suggest i have no issue with swearing but some people might, so to clearly swear pretty loudly in front of a whole stand of people was a bit daft, but heat of the moment i'll happily let him off. some won't.

About spat my drink out when I read it. Utterly unbelievable comment.

Not so much the swearing Scouse.. even that i get in the heat of the moment (though i dont condone it).

But did he not say...and die?

If so, thats a no-no IMO..

yeah that's valid. basically just a poor choice of words but most can agree with the general sentiment behind it. like i said the choice of words is what will land him in trouble with possibly an "investigation" and with some fans opinions, not why he's said it or the general idea behind it, but as you say, "**** off and die" is pretty offensive  .

Why should Pearson stand for abuse off fans its not like he has gone over there and cleared him up hes just exchanged a few words with him after being insulted by some moron who probably doesn't have the slightest clue about management or life in general.

I would never no matter how bad the team is doing boo them or especially talk to the manager or players like a piece of shit in front of everyone, if that was in the street then the response or situation wouldn't be no different so why is it okay for the fan to shout abuse and not get any back.

People who like to open there mouths and talk to the players or manager like that should be banned, no good for the club.

and Stringer well hes got the brain of a 5 year old.

Well done Nigel. If that twat wants to abuse people for ages, he should be ready to take it back. As for RL supposedly being banned from talking to the players, I'm fine with that. Presumably it's local radio rather than the whole BBC, so it screws over Stringer and Bourne, and only Stringer and Bourne.

Agree with Col on this. Not very smart from NP but I think Stringer has got his just desserts.

Pearson remained defiant after the match, insisting that he was merely backing his players. But now Cliff Ginetta, the chairman of Leicester City Supporters Club, wants the manager to issue an apology to members of the crowd, many of whom were elderly and were upset by his behaviour.

He said: “You can’t behave like that nowadays. You could do it years ago but this is just Nigel’s arrogance. I’m sorry, you can’t do that. He shouldn’t give it back, there were women and children about.

When talking to the SSN journos;

"It's probably galvanised the feeling within the camp, for us, the players are exceptionally unhappy with one or two things that happened the other night and thats why they're not speaking to BBC Radio Leicester, because of their reporters gestures the other night".

Excellent.

Fantastic. Couldn't have handled it better if he'd tried.
