Why loan him to Holland when you could give him time in your own league. Anyway, probably more horse crap.

Because that's there feeder club, and they loan almost all of their young players there, but I get what you're saying.

Chelsea close in on £7.5m Andrej Kramaric deal, Inter Milan propose Mohamed Salah loan and Schalke express interest in Manchester City's Matija Nastasic

  • Chelsea are hoping to conclude a deal for Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric
  • The Blues were outbid by Leicester but Kramaric has chosen the Bridge

Chelsea will consider loaning Andrej Kramaric to Leicester City as they look to close a £7.5m deal with his club for the striker on Monday.

Leicester have a £7.8m bid on the table for the HNK Rijeka goalscorer but the player wanted to move to a bigger club.

Juventus have also made a play for Kramaric but only wanted to offer £4.5m plus add-ons. If all is agreed on Monday the player is expected to travel to London on January 5 to have a medical.

The contract is for four and a half years and the player will initially be paid around £20,000 a week after tax.
Kramaric, who has scored 28 goals in all competitions this season, has already agreed to join the Premier League leaders.

All in all could work out very well for us if true. Makes sense for Chelsea, we get him acclimatised to the prem for them, get him settled in England, etc. Makes sense for us, he's currently in goalscoring form, high on confidence, similar to Wood when he came in, Chelsea pay the money for us.

If we stay up, doesn't really matter if we then lose him, there'll be other players and we'll be more established. If we go down, he's off the wage bill and not a sulking burden.

Probably the best deal for everyone.
