Why no Pearson interview on radio Leicester

Does anyone remember when Bourne was asked to interview Pearson?

Blackpool, black black black burn? Too many blacks in this division

Steady on Jason lol

I know.

Not too many people are suggesting the idea I know but there are one or two suggesting Bourne should do the interviews, does anyone remember when he's done the odd interview in the past? Arguably worse than Stringer (If possible) and I think it'd be a matter of time before Pearson would get pissed off by him, albeit I doubt Bourne would do the gesture that's been talked about, Bourne doesn't seem so far up his own arse like Stringer does, what I will say about Bourne is he brown noses Stringer abit too much.

They both seemed abit pissed off when we won on Sunday.

I mentioned it in the post match thread, Bourne said something along the lines of 'Is Konchesky to blame for getting the red-card'... To blame for what exactly? We won? Ok Konchesky was silly to get the two yellows but what is he to blame for exactly?

Feel sorry for Bourne because he is terrible at everything. Stringer is a total clown but at least he usually knows how to get excited when we score a goal and say something that is worthy of the occasion, especially as it will be played with highlights for years to come. Bourne's commentary was some of the worst I've ever heard; I was actually embarrassed for him. I think RL needs a total overhaul tbh, I wouldn't miss any of them if they disappeared now.

Just an observation for all you 'luvies'. Is Pearson better at his job than Stringer is at his?

There's a lovely debate for all you guys, sorry, girls, sorry, both.

No debate, easily Pearson. He's a bloody good manager - you may not like him, but his record speaks for itself. Stringer however is a pretty poor commentator - half the time there's no indication where the play is, and grossly unprofessional.

No debate as far as I'm concerned, simply yes.

Not only that, Pearson is probably better at Stringers job that Ian himself is.

Maybe Stringer would be better at Nigel's job.

He wasn't even up to being an apprentice.

To be fair to Bourne I think he was decent at doing what he does. Where he has started to go wrong is mimicking Stringers tone.

The two of them are starting to sound pissed off now we are turning a corner. Playing the hallelujah sound bite after Hull wasn't even funny. They clearly want Nigel gone and they sound like a pair of school children.

I think the whole station are probably panicking over the drop in listeners now we have a quality english stream week in week out. Add to this the fact that the nationals such as 5 live and talksport are wanting a piece of the action too every now and then.

In the past listeners were held over the barrel as there were no other choices and we had to put up with Stringer however badly we perceived him. Foxesplayer were also massively arrogant when their player didn't work as they knew there was nowhere else to go.

Stringer has took a gamble and it hasn't paid off. I think he thought "I'll kick up a fuss and hopefully get listeners tuning in again to hear my maverick ways" The problem is that he's even alienated some of his hardcore listeners and he's losing listeners that he couldn't afford to.

I'm afraid the only thing that can save the show is relegation and the mediocrity of the championship.

I won't listen to Radio Leicester again until Stringer is removed. Hopefully that will be this summer.

If we stay up, I would imagine that will happen. If we go down I doubt it.

They're not doing themselves any favour with the type of "reporting" conducted by Stringer and Bourne. Personally, I think the whole affair has massively backfired and I would even go as far as saying it has somewhat tarnished the good image of the BBC. I don't see any place for allegedly professional behaviour like that in public broadcasting, be it television or radio. I hope the least them two got was getting reprimanded.

Whether they should be sacked or not remains an open case - I'd like to see where they're heading with their antics up until the end of this season.

Bourne getting ejected from Southampton by the stewards before the match was pretty funny.

Did he? lol

For what??

Well he was standing on the stairs doing his crap fan interviews, then a steward came out of nowhere and ejected him lol no idea what it was actually for though

I've always been interested in what ex plAyers earn when they commentate on games on the radio.

Is it substantial amount Geoff?
