Spicer Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 People seem to be encouraged by the Manchester City match. Thoughts etc...
Unabomber Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Same team, but as long as us fans go there and have a safe trip there and back and have a bloody good time that is all that matters.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Sunderland (please, no Cattermole comments) are showing how to play against better sides. Though they score few, they pick up points by not conceding either. Another clean sheet for them today I believe? After the debacle against Southampton, they have shut up shop very well. And that's with a pretty poor back four. Take note...

Guest Col city fan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Come on man, at least check before posting! They drew 1-1... Ah, yes another draw... Not bad though against West Ham at present. The point remains..not conceding many.
Stinkenzo Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Sunderland also lost 8-0 to Southampton, not Sunderland. All round poor post, -1
RizLCFC Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Need to get a win out of West Ham, Hull and Spurs, at least 3 points, otherwise I think we're down, sadly!
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Sunderland also lost 8-0 to Southampton, not Sunderland. All round poor post, -1 Bloody mare.. Edited, and the point remains..
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 This is a loss all day long. I'm going and I'll stand and sing and that, but we will lose this.
cjslcfc Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 This is a loss all day long. I'm going and I'll stand and sing and that, but we will lose this. My thoughts exactly. I have chalked this one down as a loss. We need at least a point but I can't see it with the way these are playing and how physical they are.
KFS Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Big performance from the fans. Whether we're 1,2,3 down, let's have some passion and give it a go. See you there.
theessexfox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Looking forward to it, especially with gloating potential down here (unlikely as it seems) Unchanged for me.
Leicesterpool Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 A lot of positives from today but the idea of going to Upton Park and coming away with all three points seems quite an impossible task at the moment. But anyway lets just go down there and see what we can do, what the fans have got to do is make sure they get behind their team.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Let's party and make ourselves heard. Positive noise because these are the games we wanted last season. I've loads of wet spam mates around here and it'll be a tough match, but if we as fans do our bit then I'll be able to hold my head up regardless.
Raj Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 This is a loss all day long. I'm going and I'll stand and sing and that, but we will lose this.thats the attitude..well done David!!!!!!
Dan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 We'll play better than expected but lose 2-0 to two set pieces.
trabuch Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Although he looks like a 1960s bin man... Sam Allardyce is one of the cleverest managers in the game. It's a big challenge for Nigel.
dayday Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 When do we ever beat these, the only time i can remember winning was 1-0 win in the 80s
nlukka Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Very excited for this, I only live around 30 mins from West Ham so this is my 'local' fixture this season. It will also be my first trip to Upton Park which I'm really looking forward to. Got a feeling we'll get something out of this; today's performance has given me confidence that we'll win 2-1. For me the same 11 has to start, don't think there's anything I'd want to change in terms of personnel. Challenge will be coping with the different type of attacking threat West Ham will pose; they've got the physicality of Carroll and then the trickery of Valencia, both of whom could cause us serious problems. Still, the optimist in me says we'll stop the rot and give ourselves some Christmas cheer. Keep the faith!
Gary Eatfood Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 When do we ever beat these, the only time i can remember winning was 1-0 win in the 80s Did the double over them in 2000/2001 season.
trabuch Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 If we get a point out of this match (or better) then I reckon we will survive in this division. If you want a prediction 1-1. Before today I was all about the relegation - and no worries. Now I have gone a bit blue tinted (booze). I am pretty sure we will beat spurs by the way.
eastendfox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 There won't be many on here have ever seen us win at West Ham, as I think we only did that in 2000 in the last 50 years or something. It was one way traffic that night, against us, yet somehow we won 1-0. A repeat would do very nicely.
Guest ttfn Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Carroll is going to have an absolute field day.
shailen Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Same line up for me, possibly Schlupp out for Knockeart. Need more flair and creativity with a 4-3-3 system
