Sinclair would be a good start. Shouldn't break the pay structure. A good loan signing will even do. But it has to be quality.

Would love a left back, because watching Konch is painful, but like others have mentioned we've looked better at the back lately. As a result I think more quality in midfield might be even more beneficial than upgrades at the back (we need both obviously). We're woeful at keeping possession and I feel like another solid holding midfielder (who can stay healthy) could help a lot. Not sure who would be available, but it's something we could really use to take a little pressure off the back and maybe let us build something up for once instead of hoofing it every time.

I think Kris Commons is a decent player. But I didn't know he was surly. If he is then surely he isn't the sort of player that we should bring in?

They are still in Spain. Played a friendly today against Ingolstadt (leading team of the German second league). Drew 1-1.

 

We're going through the same ordeal as you are. Need to sign a striker and at least one CM. And need to sign them yesterday. We sold LCFC Kramaric, our other star player, Moises had an operation and is out of action until the summer and our main CM had a fall out with the management and is suspended (and on the transfer list).

 

Btw. our budget is max. 500 000€/player and max. 150 000€/year salary.

 

Got a a CF that plays for the Albanian national squad a few days ago (Balaj, the one that was involved in the drone incident in Belgrade at the Serbia-Albania) and are about to sign a Bulgarian national team striker, Hristov (never heard of the guy until tonight). Still looking for a CM.
