adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Would love it if we could get Ezequiel Ponce. oh my days someone been playing football manager 2015
indierich06 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Sinclair would be insanely good. To answer the OP's original question, I think we can get a bit more than three players for £20m quid. I'd look at: Scott Sinclair (n/a) - on loan with a view to buy Ravel Morrison (n/a) - on loan with a view to buy Andrej Kramaric (£8m) - got a lot of faith in our scouting and hopeful this can be another Mahrez-style signing Curtis Davies (£3m) - would shore up the defence and add a bit of experience/take the pressure off our current three Nathan Ake (n/a) - on loan, although it's rumoured that Besiktas want him on a permanent Tyrone Mings (£4.5m?) - need a new LB desperately and this lad has a decent future. I like Konchesky, but he's been a bit error-prone of late and we need to be adding quality. Would like to see Chilwell come through the ranks as back up too Jermain Defoe (n/a) - on loan. Young enough to still have an impact, and would add vital experience This lot would add some serious quality throughout the side. I'd really like to see us sign a ball-winning midfielder, but can't think of any good, realistic targets right now. Doubt we'll see that many signings, but it'd be nice!
Mike Oxlong Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 oh my days someone been playing football manager 2015 Wrong! Features in today's Transfer News on Sky Sports. How do you know he's on there though?
chapero82 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 this is the interview where Nigel says he is struggling to sign players it is at the end of it http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30617885

Sinclair - Would be nice but unlikely Morrison - No thanks. Would cause unrest. Kramaric - Yes please. Permanent or loan. Davies - Think we could do better Ake - Would take him on loan Mings - Destined for bigger things Defoe - Would be great but Arry will prob get there first

muzzy1981 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Nathan Redmond can step up IMO and much neededwhen Schlupp and Mahrez go to Afric cup
chapero82 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Doesn't sound good does it. Not at all mate
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 I would just go for loan deals, because no Premiership quality player will want to join a side, at the very bottom of the league. Sad, but true.
J.Lisemore Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 I can see us making 2 signings and both from abroad. Not always a bad thing either, with the position were in its going to be difficult to attract established Premiership players unfortunately.
Bamba's Babes Posted 29 December 2014 Author Posted 29 December 2014 Pearson says we're lacking Prem know-how . I think we'll be looking at Prem players
LCCFox96 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 I would just go for loan deals, because no Premiership quality player will want to join a side, at the very bottom of the league. Sad, but true. We aren't dead and buried. We are 3 points off the current 'survival' pace. The lure of a guaranteed 5 months premiership football and a realistic enough target (with hard work and good performances) of premier league football next year will tempt premier league quality players in. The top flight of English football is the pinnacle for a lot of players. Loans might be more attractive moves financially or easier business to conduct but I see no reason we can't attract some premier league quality players in on permanent deals.
lee7 Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Borini from Liverpool? Don't know how big a part he has to play in Brendan Rogers plans but he was quality at Sunderland last season and always looks sharp whenever I see him play!
foxfanazer Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Salah on loan Also if Chelsea sign a striker in Jan I'd like us to look at possibly loaning Loic Remy. Unlikely but worth a shot
les-tah Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 with knowing for a while we are losing 2 wingers one of which is are best player in jan. I would be very very shocked if nige and his team haven't already planned who's coming to us in January ... Whether it's loan or not. With terry Robinson being sacked this opens the door to bigger budget transfers as Well!,
Mike Oxlong Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Lasse Vibe from IFK Gothenburg gets a plug as a striker who could make an instant impact for about 2-3m in the Guardian.
MC Prussian Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Roger Espinoza from Wigan. Gritty midfielder who can play in all sorts of positions in the middle. Zarate from West Ham - the speedy centre-forward is no longer in Allardyce's plans.

J.Lisemore Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Isn't he going to QPR? Yep, deal seemingly already in place if you read the BBC. Also, Espinoza according to BBC is leaving to move back home.
nettle Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Van Dijk from Celtic Looks a good player that guy strong, imposing and good on the deck.
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 December 2014 Posted 30 December 2014 Some of the suggestions on here are somewhat questionable... Wright-Phillips, Scott Parker being two examples. Form an orderly queue with your zimmer frames gentlemen. Jose Luis Gaya is the left back the club should look at. Spanish U21 international and being considered a very very good talent.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Being a football manager is easy!! Just spent 5 mins scouring the net=... Rubin Okotie. Thank me later!
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 31 December 2014 Posted 31 December 2014 Samuel umtitti was linked with him at start of the season powerful centre back
