If we got Defoe in we might see some of his old form come into play and solve our in front of goal issue. Mahrez sitting behind Ulloa and Defoe creating chances. Commons as his replacement

Commons as his replacement Your solution to our current defensive frailties is to play two of the back four out of position and one of those players, in RDL, has under performed in his natural position this season. Probably not the best shout.

I can't see Hull letting Davies go and there's plenty that are out of our price range. I'm hoping the scouting set-up have got a CM version of Riyad up their sleeve.

Look at all the good player Newcastle have discovered in the past 5/6 years. Krull in goal, Demba Ba up top, sissoko in Midfield. That new left winger they have. Like I said there out there waiting to be picked up.

Otherwise in January we havent got a hope of getting any more points. I heard Pearson is reluctant to add a maverick to the squad, (even add any new players, surely a mistake?) I understand why, he doesnt want one player to 'upset the applecart.' Nor does he want his job made even harder by adding 'star', but surely the time has come to up the ante. We ought to try and get anyone good who is prepared to come to City. Yesterdays performance, forgetting the first 20 minutes was quite good. Despite this we still didn't get any points from the contest, no matter us literally throwing everything in the kitchen sink at Spurs for the last 20 minutes. Who do you think we ought to sign in January? On a realistic budget, if that is pheasible in the January window. How much does Ramadel Falcao command per week? and could he be tempted to come to us? He is not getting first team games at Utd. Surely he'd be a good addition for starters. I'd like to know what contract conditions he has at Utd. Suggestions please.
