Guest MattP Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Schmeichel Simpson Davies Morgan Konchesky Cambiasso Drinkwater Adam Mahrez------------------Campbell Mitrovic With a bench of; Hamer, Moore, James, Knockaert, Nugent, Vardy, Schlupp. Surely that team would be 'too good' to drop? The back five certainly isn't 'too good to drop' - Joel Campbell is a half decent shout as an attacking option though. And where is Ulloa?
Mark Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Morgan isn't a left centre back so I hope we sort that before anything else, it was obvious last season he wasn't comfortable moving over to the other side to accommodate Wasyl.
AKCJ Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Rip Ulloa The back five certainly isn't 'too good to drop' - Joel Campbell is a half decent shout as an attacking option though. And where is Ulloa? D'ya know... I totally forgot about Ulloa. I do agree about the back 5 though. But would there not be 3 worse defences? I just suppose it proves that the game means jack shit on paper.
lcfcbobby Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 some people been playing too much football manager!!! the problem is now is that were at the bottom of the league so we are going to struggle to get some good players in. At start of the season it would have been a good time to get players like Jordan Rhodes from Blackburn and Will Hughes from Derby but now these are not going to be possible.. We will be having to look to players from aboard or older players looking for 1 last payday before they retire!! I would be very surprised if we sign anyone that we have all herd of on a long term contract
ronnup Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Podolski? Toure? Defoe? Joel Campbell? Er...we had a whole summer and got Ulloa, Simpson and Albrighton.
Poiseuille Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Adel Taarabt Hatem Ben Arfa Ravel Morrison Mario Balotelli F**k s**t up! Yeahhhhhhh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GingerrrFox Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Adel Taarabt Hatem Ben Arfa Ravel Morrison Mario Balotelli F**k s**t up! Yeahhhhhhh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'd take Ravel Morrison to be fair.
KentyLCFC Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Jordan Rhodes. Bacary Sako. Kyle Naughton. think a striker is main priority but we also need a new left back as Konchesky is absolutely dreadful and Schluup is not much better either.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 We need a striker who can finish to play alongside Ulloa... Defoe would be a great option on loan, he is quick and knows where the net is. Him and Ulloa upfront would work great We need a centre half alongside Morgan, I would go with Curtis Davies... Naughton would be a good signing on the right of defence. Aaron Lennon would be a great signing on the right and move Mahrez to the left. Kasper Naughton Davies Morgan Schlupp Drinky. Cambiasso Lennon defoe mahrez Ulloa Subs: Hamer, Was, Konch, Simpson, James, Vardy, Nugent
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Hatem ben Arfa is available. If Nige could get him in and get him playing he would be worth a shot. His attitude is reportedly poor but could that be sorted out by our Nige and staff?
kingfox Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Five-Six players needed for me. Milan Bisevac Matt Ritchie Matt Jarvis Luc Castaignos Arouna Kone(loan) Then either Dempsey or Cahill on loan for two months.
Torten Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 CB: Huth or Davies Winger: Jarvis Striker: Rodallega
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Hatem ben Arfa is available. If Nige could get him in and get him playing he would be worth a shot. His attitude is reportedly poor but could that be sorted out by our Nige and staff? We aren't in a position to take chances, we need proven quality, who we know will do well for the team and add something
Jon the Hat Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Once we hammer the Hammers, and get a point off Spurs, they will be lining up to join the great Leicester City comeback from the dead!
MPH Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Liverpool are going to be adding at least 1 defender in Jan as are Arsenal of a striker!! Surely a loan would be good for both partys as they are both constantly in the press about their unhappyness of 1st team football. A short term deal could get them back in their respective first teams starting 11 or even a deal somewhere else. They would both feel that they merit a place in their current teams so its a chance to prove this by giving their all!! I thought its maybe not that stupid? Dont think we could get any of them for less than 60k a week though and thats the stumbling block for me... ( and probably the owners!)
Foxey id Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 - Kyle Naughton - LB/RB - £2 million He's worth more than £2 million but Tottenham are a dumb club so you never know. You obviously dont know about Daniel Levy's negotiating techniques.
Guest MattP Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 You obviously dont know about Daniel Levy's negotiating techniques. Well he is a J-O-O.
tommyh Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Dont think we could get any of them for less than 60k a week though and thats the stumbling block for me... ( and probably the owners!) 60k a week is alot i agree, but thats only 1.2 mil for the rest of the season! if we have this 20mil budget then thats a very small portion of it?!?!
LCFC Rennie Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 I agree with Mitrovic and Jarvis, however don't see the point in Naughton.
Foxey id Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 Kane on loan Didnt work out last time and have no chance of him coming back
Bamba's Babes Posted 16 December 2014 Author Posted 16 December 2014 Lennon? Kane? Toure? Donovan retired last week? Come on people... Click that brain into gear!
Stadt Posted 16 December 2014 Posted 16 December 2014 There's absolutely no way Mitrovic will sign for us, even if we had a bid accepted he'd turn us down. Naughton wouldn't want to play LB, so probably wouldn't join and he's almost as suspect as De Laet defensively. Jordan Rhodes would not improve us at all and we'd have to pay about £10 million for a slightly better Chris Wood. Kramaric is a possibility and he seems to be decent enough but it's whether or not he's willing to join. Jarvis? Albrighton...? Davies would probably be a good signing but again I can't imagine he's desperate to join.
