Leicester 1 - 2 Spurs

We were poor for the opening 20 minutes but the last 70 was our best performance since utd, we were better than spurs and deserved to win the game or draw at the very least.

50% possession, three times as many shots, twice as many on target, hit the bar once, two clear penalties not given, one clear sending off not given...

So unlucky to get nothing out of that. Desperately unlucky.

teams are having to try less and less hard to edge  us out.  eventually someone will overestimate how poor we are, get a shock and we'll overtake that derby points total I'm sure

Eh? Spurs were working hard all game - between about 20 and 60 minutes, we were in control and dragging them all over the park

We've played badly and lost. We've played ok and lost. We've played well and lost. That's been the last 10 or so games.

Such a predictable thing. Play well, dominate, equalise then give away a goal. Just like QPR, just like Liverpool, Aston Villa.

We're not making progress at all.

This may have been great viewing for the neutral but for me it's f^cking purgatory, sloppy defending again, not taking guilt edge chances and to add insult to injury poor bastard refereeing!!

saying how bad the teams are that beat us has become a bit of a trend... i think instead teams are conserving their energies against us and saving them for bigger challenges, especially when fixtures are coming thick and fast

It's quality..end of

No lack of passion, commitment, work rate. We are a good Championship side, but a poor Premiership side.

That's maybe the fault of the owners, or Nigel, or Terry..take your pick. We didn't spend enough in the summer and are living to regret it.

The usual suspects will blame individual errors etc etc.. We make as many errors at the attacking end, as we do at the defensive end. Why? I'm afraid we are just not quite good enough.

At least the midfield was more mobile and energetic today. That's an improvement.

Tend to agree. We do look good at times but usually when the opposition sit back. As soon as they turn it on we generally concede. Most teams are playing us in 2nd/3rd gear I feel, although maybe not so much today.

Our owners need to tell Nigel that if he doesn't buy 5 players we are gone.

If we go into january and don't sign players I'll go spare, We were not good enough at the back AGAIN,

Midfield done well but we still need that bit of steel, The left hand side is disappointing every time we play, And we still can't hit a barn door.

Either we need 5/6 new players who can take us to that next level of quality, Or Nigel needs to go to bring someone in who can.

Cause although we were completely robbed today but an incompetent referee, We still had enough chances by a mile to end this game, The penalty decisions should not have even mattered because we should be 3-1 up.

We played very well compared to previous months, but we still lack the quality to deliver results, and we cannot rely on this performance every week because we know it wont come.

2 strikers,

Left winger,

Left back,

2 centrebacks

Midfielder.

Improve or we are down already IMO.

I hope to god nigel is already in discussions with players, because we need these player in the first week of january.

Sorry but this is total bullsh1t no premier league team sits back with only a one goal lead.

We're losing narrowly because we're narrowly the worse side or like today just get a lot of poor luck.

We lost today because we were not good enough in either penalty area. No doubt there will be a plethora of excuses trolled out by some - cheating, time-wasting, bad luck - but that is all BS!

Its the most overused term of the season, but today really was fine margins.

If Ulloa's header was a foot left inside the post, If Morgan had slid in and turned it home, If LLoris hadnt have kept our Mahrez' shot. Vertonghen got a slight nick on the ball, but youve seen those given for penalties many times.

The one genuine moment of quality from them in the 2nd half, and we lost the game.

Its hard to be too critical on the basis of a performance like that. They gave everything, other than a 20 min spell at the beginning of the 1st half definitely the better team, so to lose is all the more sickening.

Then how come pretty much every time we score the oppo reply, often instantly?

spot on - why do people need to put our performances down as opposition not trying rather than us actually playing ok. What do they get out of the game?

Is making constant defensive mistakes and missing sitter after sitter poor luck though or is it just that we aren't good enough?
