Don't get me wrong. They didn't play well but I think Moore is a good young defender who will relish the challenge. It's a tough call because Wes is the captain.

not really Wes shows very little leadership out there

Totally agree! Just need to see with Pearson will drop our captain to see how Was and Moore will perform. I would love to see someone else lead our team but I'm not sure who will after Wes and Kasper.

Yeah, Morgan being captain helps his case about being in the team but I think Pearson will say to Moore that he had his chance when Wes was suspended which is why I think Was/Moore won't be used again.

Was/Upson on the other hand...

IMO the lads gave it a really good honest shift. Yes lacked that extra little quality in the end, but they did put up a fight. Honestly proud today of their performance. Best Christmas present this year for me. Did think we got Mugged by the Ref helping them out. For me how did he and his Linesman miss either one. Thought Vardy's shout was obvious. I could see it all the way from here in Los Angeles. I know their job is difficult but to miss both shouts. I don't know. I am sorry. Just 2 silly errors cost us again. Hamer shocking. Yet I am not completely upset, did see some improvements. Just worried now if both Schlupp and Mahrez leave for African Nations. We cannot afford to lose anybody right now. I am sure Mahrez will be going.

Well take care everybody and Happy New Year.

to which Liam should demand to know why Wes gets chance after chance then

People talk about luck, your top goal scorer hitting a post from 6 yards out unmarked and your captain missing an open goal isn't bad luck!

We simply lack the individual quality to punish teams!

I'm not one for talking about luck because it's not real, but we were unlucky today. First 20/25 minutes we were appalling and I generally thought Spurs were going to score 3 but we improved. After that our performance was good, influenced by Drinkwater's good performance, and we scored a good goal. How Eriksen scored from that range though, I don't know and where I sit in SK2 I couldn't really see it. Thought he'd miss-hit it and it'd gone wide then I saw them celebrate.

WHO will want to come here???

Players nearing the end of their contract.

Players who want to perform in the Premier League, displaying their skills on a higher level.

Players desperate to get minutes under their belt.

Loan players.

Just to name a few.

Disappointing that we lost but on the bright side at least the performance will shut the 4-5-1 monkeys up for a bit.

You reckon we should stick with 4-4-2 from now on? Vardy back in?

For anyone interested its the Game of the day on Sky Sports.

I'm not watching it, despite being abit happier with it today, we still lost and i'm still frustrated, I don't want to watch our bad luck again, but i'll put it out there for those that are interested.

He scored because our wall parted like the Red Sea.

I sit in SK2 so couldn't really see it. Bit of both there, wall shouldn't split but conceding at the near post is disappointing for any goalkeeper. How many times has Eriksen rescued Spurs though, especially away from home.

Effort is there but at the end of the day we are going to get relegated from the PL because we are sh|t. That is the simple fact.

6/7 points adrift.

Today we needed to win that game to have momentum for Hull. Average, we need around 38 points to have a good chance of staying up. We are have played half of the season's games (bar Hull) and we have 10. 10 people, we have 10 points at the half-way mark and need around another 25 points from the next half of the season to stand any chance of staying up.

The ship is sinking quickly ... better prepare for next year's promotion push (with Nigel).

We played well from 35 minutes onwards, but at the end of the day Spurs were unlucky not to be 2-0 up by the time we sorted ourselves out. If that was another team they would have taken their chances and would have been out of sight before we had chance to respond.

Our defence is shit, it doesn't matter how good we are going forward if we don't sort it out, which means replacing Wes and Konch at a bare minimum.

Our attack is acceptable when we have confidence and things are going our way.

Basically if we get anything less than 3 points at Hull we are down and that's a tall order, despite what we deserved today.

Ian Stringer pissed me off after the game, saying Hamer had a mare for Eriksen's free kick. If the wall does it's job and stays together, that gets blocked at source.

Without turning this into a Stringer/Bourne hate thread (We've had enough of them) to me they seem to be revelling in our demise, they're loving reminding us where we are and what shit we're in, still a vendetta there to me.

whist you're right about the wall Hamer himself would admit he had a shocker on that goal

I can take us getting relegated as long we show a little fight and have had a go, it looks like we did today. But we can't keep conceding goals, we ain't good enough to have to score 3 to win a game.

Just got back after a horrible drive in the snow back to Rutland! My last home game was the legendary win against united and I thought our performance was more or less as good today as it was back in September, except for finishing.

Really enjoyed the game, but obviously gutted with the result. Thought the crowd were great too.

The first goal was embarrassingly bad, and yet I don't think a single Leicester fan in the ground was surprised to see it go in. Morgan was complacent, got bullied the wrong side of Kane and Simpson caught well out of position so early on.

We were good for long periods and should really have put away more of the great opportunities created, there were at least 5 of them. Couldn't really fault a single member of the team today, great effort, and we were better than spurs, we just didn't close out the game well enough at 1-1, didn't take our chances.

On the plus side we are only 1 further point adrift after the last 2 games, could be much worse. Beat Hull, it's back to 3 points and we could start to believe.

Well, I think that was easily the hardest loss to take so far this season, purely because of the fact we should have won.

I'm not going to talk about luck etc... but I think that was up there as one of our best performances this season. I can't quite believe we lost.

The energy was reminiscent of last season and some of the football we played today was fantastic. Yet again it's individual errors and that lack of individual quality in both boxes that is killing us and will continue to kill us this season. It's a sadly predictable and repetitive storyline but that is ultimately costing us valuable points.

I don't know what to feel after the game though. I'm immensely proud of the players, the effort they put in and the way they attacked (until they reached the key shot etc...). On the other hand I am absolutely gutted and deflated that we have lost that game. I was thoroughly entertained and, should we go down, if most games are like that in terms of our performance and entertainment then it won't be as bitter a pill to swallow. Play like that the rest of the season (apart from the finishing) then we should actually stay up. It's becoming a very tall order though. We cannot lose to Hull on Sunday.

Just home, enjoyed the game in which we played well, were unlucky and the better side throughout. Spurs were good on the ball but weak when we attacked them, showing we've been giving too much respect to sides week in, week out. Things could've gone very differently today - not sure what went so badly wrong for Kane's goal, though that thick sack of shite was nailed on to score, and it looked from where I was that Hamer should've saved the free-kick, though I couldn't see what the wall did from where I was. At the other end, things could've gone differently with Riyad's free kick, Ulloa's header, Schlupp's shot, and many more incidents including Wes sliding in at the end. Didn't look a penalty to me.

Schlupp was excellent all round, athletic and strong, and today he looked very dangerous. Mahrez wasn't as good in general play but his final product was excellent. Combine those two and you'd have a hell of a winger, shame we'll lose them both next week. Schlupp has been one of our best players this season for me.

Pleased with our performance and application but if we play that well and still don't pick up points, it doesn't bode well.
