Spicer Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 This on the 28th, so is in a couple of days. Thoughts etc? I would go with: Hamer Simpson Morgan Wasyl Konch Mahrez Drinkwater James Schlupp Knockaert Ulloa I want to put Upson in the team but I don't know when he will be ready.
DennisNedry Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 I think the logical thing to do is play the same team as today because it was our best performance for months. This is a huge game and one that we can't afford to lose.
Stevosevic Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 The table will look absolutely disgusting after this one.
Narborough_fox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Nugent looked like he was struggling at the end of the game today so wouldn't be surprised to see Vardy start ahead of him. Probably go James-Drinkwater in midfield and keep the rest of the team as it was today.
oxfordfox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 The table will look absolutely disgusting after this one. Maybe that will encourage the owners to bring in a new manager then ...
Guest kristianity77 Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 2-1 to Hull, Curtis Davies a nailed on scorer.
Nalis Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 I think the logical thing to do is play the same team as today because it was our best performance for months. This is a huge game and one that we can't afford to lose. I agree 100%. ...but we will probably bring Cambiasso in.
Raj Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 If we lose to hull and the gap to safety widens something has to give....this is getting embarrassing.
theessexfox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 James in for King, same team same approach for me. Minus conceding a goal in the first minute.
Max Power Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Lose 2-0. Probably some more of those pesky individual errors. Pearson stays in a job despite all logic.
AyewJoking Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Sorry but we cant beat teams who are complacent and take their foot of the gas how are we going to beat a Hull side who will be 100% fired up for it?
old koppite Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Think we'll be out muscled again away from home. They'll be cock a hoop after their win today, we'll be emotionally and physically drained.
cjslcfc Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Just wish we had won today. The whole place would be buzzing going into this game and I would be confident we'd win. Instead it'll probably be a bore draw. Let's attack like today and we could get that important result.
Benguin Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Nigel just needs to tell the team to shoot and well be fine. We dribble the ball too much once we have a chance on
Ricey Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Same team other than James for King and Vardy for Nugent. Nugent was there today to drop into the midfield when Spurs had the ball, I'd sooner have Vardy bustling Hull's defence.
MC Prussian Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Please drop Morgan. Or give the captaincy to Cambiasso. Anything to relieve Wes from the pressure to hold this team together. Apart from that, we should pretty much field the same squad as today. I liked the overall performance against Spurs, we can build on that.
LCCFox96 Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Unchanged from the team that started the 2nd half. They produced a very competitive and encouraging performance today and that will be needed again next week in what is a massive game! Only change I'd be tempted to make would be Knockaert in for Konchesky as when we've made that change against West Ham and today vs Spurs we looked so much better with Schlupp at left back and Knockaert in front as wear equally (if not more) comfortable in defence and stronger going forward.
Dickov22 Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 James in for King Vardy in for Nugent Otherwise, same side.
Eastwellfox Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 I think the logical thing to do is play the same team as today because it was our best performance for months. This is a huge game and one that we can't afford to lose. to have a chance of staying up we need 30 points from 20 games when we have managed only 10 from 18. We need 40 to guarantee staying up. I would say it probably makes little difference now win or lose.
