That has to be it. Pearson needs to stay

so glad we got the 3 points as that's what is really important. However, (and i'm no Pearson hater) if we had given away the lead, which looked like, people would have been calling for his head again and it would have been hard to disagree with them as that performance was shocking

I think the owners are playing the long game with him, which I think is their M.O.

I've got really frustrated with this run and I have said that I think we need a change, so I'm as prone to knee-jerk reactions following matches as anyone.

But...I think we know Pearson is a great manager.  He has broken records with City and shown he is capable of achieving if given time.  It is a hugely disappointing start to the PL after 10 years but it has happened now and all that remains is to try to improve in the future.

Difficult though it is, I'm behind Pearson as manager for the long term, regardless of short term results.

One swallow doesn't make a summer and the next month is huge.

We've two winnable home games and a transfer window.

Come out of the next four games with six points or more and good business in the transfer market, things look more rosy.

Is this a joke?? We got lucky today

Pearson is God, from the last one game he has got us maximum points ;) but honestly this game was so important to win, I think we haven't had much luck for a while so about time we did

One game and one win doesn't make a season. Let's not forget the 13 match winless run.

In mountaineering terms we're only at base camp with the north face of the Eiger still to be climbed.

3 points at Liverpool anyone?!!

Get over what??? ****ing hell give him manager of the mounth

If we'd sacked him a month ago, and it was Pulis getting that result, he'd have been praised as a bloody saviour. A win is a win, doesn't matter about performance or luck, it's 3 points

I usually start a new stat run after the historic Boxing Day fixture and so far Nige is on played one won one so for me that is a cracking achievement.

This 13 game winless run has damaged me, and a lucky win over hull is not gonna make me feel different of Pearson, let's at least get out the relegation zone

Well let's hope it continues
