jimmeh Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 With it being 2-0 Liverpool with dodgy ref decisions we have nothing to lose and extra Determination because of the penalties. Rodgers is also more calm at half time and players think its in the bag. If it was 0-0 i just feel Liverpool would have ended up winning

Tielemans63 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 You can excuse wrong decisions but Mike Jones is consistently shit - seems to have a mare every week. My beef with referees is that they might get dropped for the odd game every once in a blue moon but they are not really held to account when they make mind-bogglingly bad decisions. A lot of them are just not fit for purpose.
iamafox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 The ref was an utter joke, at the highest level of football you cannot get simple penalty decisions like that wrong. He should be banned from refereeing completely.
Gary Eatfood Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 There was nothing to lose. If it was 0-0 half time we would have lost. Im convinced Well as long as you're convinced. I'm convinced that if he hadn't given the 1st penalty we would have won 6-0.
Guest Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 There was nothing to lose. If it was 0-0 half time we would have lost. Im convinced I don't know how you stay so positive all the time. Honestly it's a joy to behold!
Fox92 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 it's his smug little face that does it. I was about to post the same thing. Just seen it back on the highlights. It's his decision at that's final. Doesn't consider anything.
The Blue Moon Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 You can tell who actually goes the matches and who the keyboard warriors are based on the post times above.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 He was shit today, actually utter shit, but I don't think he's the worst ref in the world normally.
????? Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 The ref, lives in Runcorn and has a house in Chester. That's just ridiculous that he was appointed to this game!
Unabomber Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 He was bribed I think. Being ginger only makes you so much of a ****, so something unethical deffo went on today and I for one want to see it out of our beloved game.
Gary Eatfood Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Even Graham Poll thinks he's a cvnt. Former Premier League referee and Sportsmail columnist Graham Poll believes Jones' decision to show Aguero a yellow card was one of the worst decisions of the season. He wrote on Sunday: 'Mike Jones, often considered as the weakest member of the select group of referees, made one of the worst decisions of the season when he somehow missed Jose Fonte wipe Sergio Aguero out for a stonewall penalty. 'As if that was not bad enough Jones then rubbed salt in the wound by showing Aguerro a yellow card for diving! However, Manchester City won the match comfortably enough so does it really matter that Jones made such a blatant mistake – after all he is human? Well I think it does
Dan Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Mike Jones is so useless he tried to win the game for Liverpool and he even ****ed that up.
MooseBreath Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 He was demoted in late November 2014 for the Aguero incident, not the first time he has been demoted, and he followed that up by an incredibly bad performance in the championship refereeing wolves v Bournemouth, a performance described as "the most controversial I've ever seen" in the below article. Begs the question why on earth is this guy still managing premier league games. He's quite clearly not up to the job, whether through pure incompetence or something more sinister. Personally I suspect the latter, just look at the way he loses control of his own tongue when he gives the first penalty. For me that is a man who is well aware of the controversy he is creating, and he's so excited by it that he can't control himself. Should never referee in the premier league again. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/wolverhampton-wanderers-blog-mike-jones-8251895 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2854906/Sergio-Aguero-s-booking-diving-one-worst-decisions-season-Mike-Jones-says-Graham-Poll.html
Guy Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 As woeful as Liverpool were, what we don't need at any stage throughout this trying season is the referee handing the opposition an undeserved point in the way he did today with what clearly was a whack in the face for Big Wes!
Rasmic123 Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 when they went 2 up, we went to pot for a couple of minutes. i think every leicester fan wanted us to get into half time and get our heads straight. people suggesting that the decisions helped us clearly didnt watch the game because the penalties stopped us from getting all 3 points.
Jace Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Wouldn't surprise me if this was his accumulator, hope it was anyway what a **** http://www.thesportbible.com/pictures/liverpool-cost-one-punter-a-huge-amount-of-money
MHC Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 The amount of publicity we are getting for these, quite frankly, disgusting refereeing decisions is horrific. If roles were reversed and it was Liverpool who had been screwed out of three points due to the incompetent referee the press would be all over it for the next week at the very least, sums up the Premier League for me.
Charl91 Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 You can tell who actually goes the matches and who the keyboard warriors are based on the post times above. Well done Sherlock.
Robo61 Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 I agree, however it doesn't change the fact that you can only give a decision if your certain what you saw, he obviously wasn't. This is simply just not the case. If referee's had to be certain about every decision, then they could never make any.
Rob1742 Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 I can't see how you can give a penalty for something that clearly didn't happen. With Simpson, the ref saw it, and made a decision accordingly. But he couldn't have seen Wes handle it because he didn't, so surely you wouldn't give something you didn't see. So for me, massive error and one of concern for him as it wasn't a missed decision, it was him creating something that never happened.
MC Prussian Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 You can tell who actually goes the matches and who the keyboard warriors are based on the post times above. Seems like the invention of cell phones and the internet has completely passed you by.
The Blue Moon Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Seems like the invention of cell phones and the internet has completely passed you by. Can understand cell phones from the pub or in the car but midway through the match are you really going to be posting stuff on Foxestalk?
