Tielemans63 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 He'll stay in London. Not necessarily. Leicester is a lot closer to his home town of Leeds than London is. He might fancy a move back up North.
Charl91 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Wishful thinking, as good as he would be for us. Mahrez and Lennon would be a fantastic pair for us to have on the wings.
MHC Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Talking of Albrighton..... What is the story there then..... Not been given a look in or a chance. Him and Knocky will prob play ,in fa cup tomorrow I doubt it I'd of thought Lawrence is in front of them two in the pecking order. Pearson seems to have gone off Knockaert and Albrighton has been pretty poor when he has played.
5waller5 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Take him in a heartbeat and pay whatever it takes .... He's the sort of player that could keep us up and put £100m in the bank.
NeilLCFC Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Wishful thinking, as good as he would be for us. Mahrez and Lennon would be a fantastic pair for us to have on the wings. Was thinking exactly the same!
iamafox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I think we should try and sign dj cambell. his frightening pace would tear this league up. his great attitude work wonders with morale on the training ground. And he's scored 4 goals in 7 games for Maidenhead United. An exceptional record there.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Good old Mirror... "Pochettino will make a cut-price bid in January to sign Aston Villa's Fabian Delph, who is also a target for Loverpool." Have you never heard that song, I'll Be Your Long-hairred Liver From Loverpool?
Jimothy Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Not necessarily. Leicester is a lot closer to his home town of Leeds than London is. He might fancy a move back up North. Also has some family in Leicester too. His Aunt is a nurse at my old doctors for starters.
MC Prussian Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Also has some family in Leicester too. His Aunt is a nurse at my old doctors for starters. Darn - I still keep confusing you with Kitchandro with that avatar of yours.
Ozwin Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 He'd be quality. Him and Defoe, then we've got Vardy, Schlupp and Mahrez. That's some serious pace on the counter. Obviously they wouldn't all play but it's nice to have serious options. You always feel when Albrighton and Knockaert come on it can slow things down. Would be a serious message to the league too.
ballisimo Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I'd be tempted to break the bank and offer for Lennon, Soldado and Paulinho! Stick 35-40 million on the table. They probably wouldn't fancy it but throw money at them n they would propell us up the league! As for Lennon, abso freaking lutely!
RizLCFC Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Don't think Soldado would fancy a move here at all but even if he did I wouldn't want him!
Jimothy Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Darn - I still keep confusing you with Kitchandro with that avatar of yours. Changed it just for you
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Good player, but I doubt he would come here. Live in hope, though.
MikeyT Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Anyone saying they wouldn't want Defoe or Lennon at Leicester are mental. We are bottom of the league and as it stands heading down. Both players better than anything we have. They could be the difference and a massive one!
foxoffderby Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Also has some family in Leicester too. His Aunt is a nurse at my old doctors for starters. Sorted he can bunk up in her spare room

A lot less would get you the trio. Personally I'd rather Adebayor than Soldado as he has shown he can do it in England, just need to keep him playing and keep him happy. Lennon would be brilliant for me although I can't really see us winning a battle without going OTT on wages etc to tempt him.

Maybe his mate Jermain Defoe can convince him, if he (Defoe) signs for us.
LCCFox96 Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Maybe his mate Jermain Defoe can convince him, if he (Defoe) signs for us. Seriously though, if the rumours of us being in the hunt for Aaron Lennon are true then should we clinch the signing of Defoe that could have some weighting in any potential decision Lennon may have to make in signing for us. In my opinion both Lennon and Defoe would bring an awful lot to the squad as well as reuniting a good attacking partnership from their time at Spurs.

Mahrez and Lennon on the wings would be a handful for any team in this league and with Defoe as well could be unstoppable at times.
MPH Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Getting someone like defoe could be the carrot to persuade Lennon to sign for us...
