Four horse race for Lennon?

As an individual player Lennon would be a good signing for us and improve the squad. I'm not sure we need another winger but a player of Lennon's premier league experience and calibre wouldn't go amiss in our situation. Would this be a loan move or a permanent one?

People's disappointment stems from the fact they'd rather see other areas of the team strengthened. With Huth's deal looking imminent that's CB as done as can be. A move for Lennon wouldn't necessarily restrict us going for a left back as well but for us to sign 3 players on deadline day seems uncharacteristic.

Huth will be the centre back replacement.

All I can think is that Jeff is going to drop back in at Left back?

Hopefully James and Cambiasso will be the centre midfield partnership?

He's not going to drop his captain so Wasilewski will be the scape goat who has been half decent for us as well. This loyalty is impacting on us. Vardy is now a winger as Nigel is disparate for him to come good again at the cost of numerous appalling displays and lost points.

Lennon and Schlupp running at players, nice and direct should free up space in the middle and defenders are going to be scared sh*tless of their pace.

Better option than bleeding Vardy on the wing...

Don't disagree at all. Just playing devil advocate.

Mahrez will be back by Saturday ad well so Schlupp could find himself at left back with Mahrez and Lennon (if signed) as wingers. Very harsh on Albrighton though or maybe Mahrez in free roll as number 10??

At least under Pearson we're going to be playing a team of right wingers rather than a team of right backs.

Schwarzer

Upson

Schlupp

Lennon

Cambo

James

Mahrez

Kara

Ulloa

I would play this team all day long!

If we fancy changing things around too, Albrighton for me would be at the front of the queue and Knocky for the winger positions.

Bar, that though, a far better team and more like a Premiership side.

Am I alone in not being very convinced by Lennon? He has loads of pace, but his delivery is pretty patchy at best. Like others have said, CM needs addressing - too many of the CMs we have in the squad are too similar.

Why doesn't Albrighton start?

Can't wait for Mahrez to come back.

Oh we're linked with Aaron Lennon, fvck Albrighton & Mahrez.

Have to agree buddy. Bags of pace which in itself creates problems for the opposition but for all the hype he's had his final ball lacks consistency. Just another SWP in my opinion

I really think we need some players today though so wouldn't be totally against this so long as its a good deal

Agree about CM's too. Need someone creative who can chip in with goals like Sigurdsson or Shelvey. Obviously I'm not suggesting we couldnsign those two

Lennon isn't what we need in my opinion. He's been good at times in the PL but I'm more than happy with Mahrez, Albrighton, Schlupp, Knockaert and Lawrence.

What I'd give for someone of Lennon's experience and ability whose an established central midfielder, but not many about we've been linked with.

I realise it's IndyKaila but...

  1. Overseas transfers are very difficult to achieve on transfer deadline day so I expect any #lcfc business to be predominantly domestic.

I would say it was more like he just said no thanks

I don't usually swear on social media/internet but I will make this one exception...

BULLSHIT from Indy. Even Rob Tanner took the preverbial out of him the other day.

Unless someone good says it is off, don't believe it for one second. London based reporters have suggested it could be a goer looking round twitter so I think I know who I trust more!
