Alexikokopops Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Fvck off arguing over this you bunch of lemons.
Carl the Llama Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Let's get this train back on track: Would love Lennon - if the price is right. Unfortunately I can't see him not commanding wages way in excess of his real value.
HK18 Posted 16 January 2015 Posted 16 January 2015 He's definitely available, can't even make the bench for the B team, think Stoke are favourites
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Having second thoughts about signing for Hull... still a chance? Edit - Sky just confirmed we are trying to get him in on loan
Brenfox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Sky reporting we have 2 targets today & Aaron Lennon is one of them.
lee7 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Sky reporting we have 2 targets today & Aaron Lennon is one of them. I hope the other target is someone other than huth!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 I hope the other target is someone other than huth! It is. They were talking as if Huth was a done deal and now looking at Lennon and another. Not in the public domain they said so probably Sivok
kingfox Posted 2 February 2015 Author Posted 2 February 2015 According to boring Bertram we will probably only sign Huth. Therefore no LB & CM so we might as well kiss the Prem goodbye.
lee7 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 It is. They were talking as if Huth was a done deal and now looking at Lennon and another. Not in the public domain they said so probably Sivok Ahhh I see! That's a bit more reassuring then.
Ric Flair Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 We notoriously do badly on the last day of the window and I see today being no different. We may well panic and lob some bids in but they'll probably not come off. Lennon won't come here, there's better options than us for him surely?

It seems his options are the 3 clubs in the bottom 3, they are all pretty shit...
Nick Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 SSN saying Leicester are trying to talk to him as the player is a tad undecided on going to Hull.
VLC86 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 SSN saying Leicester are trying to talk to him as the player is a tad undecided on going to Hull. We have a slight advantage over Hull in the respect that Pearsons job appears safe where as Bruce is surely walking a tightrope after spending a shed load of money and making them worse.
Jon the Hat Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 SSN saying Leicester are trying to talk to him as the player is a tad undecided on going to Hull. Given the choice of moving to Hull and staying in London / Hertfordshire and commuting to Leicester I know which I would choose.
Ric Flair Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 I'm fcukin infuriated that we are wasting our time trying to sign wingers and strikers when we are horribly out of our depth in defence and central midfield. Drinkwater and King have been abysmal for the majority of this season and Wes Morgan has had a season to forget. We badly need a new left back as Konchesky is mince and De Laet showed on Saturday that he can't provide an attacking outlet when he has to constantly cut in and go back, disrupting our movement. We're on the verge of our season being a write off and yet Nigel thinks £30 million on 3 strikers is all we need to stay up. I'm not amused. We've really ballsed things up this season as it's evident the money is there but Pearson is too loyal to mediocre players. The fans are the ones that will ultimately pay the price.

Huth will be the centre back replacement. All I can think is that Jeff is going to drop back in at Left back? Hopefully James and Cambiasso will be the centre midfield partnership?

It will be Huth and Upson as the CB pairing with a week or two. Agree in midfield though

Square pegs in round holes is Pearsons new tactic this season remember! Pathetic we havent even addressed the left back situation - Aaron Cresswell would of been perfect for us

Hopefully James and Cambiasso will be the centre midfield partnership? At the moment he's playing out of his skin left wing - dropping him back will nullify his threat - FFS he's our only dangerous looking player at the moment - what does that say???
teblin Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Harsh on Schlupp to be moved back, he's been one of our best players recently and looks more comfortable on the wing than at LB Would be harsh, but I think he has done a decent job at left back when he plays there and would give us added attacking threat.
65RosesFox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Square pegs in round holes is Pearsons new tactic this season remember! Pathetic we havent even addressed the left back situation - Aaron Cresswell would of been perfect for us Yes he would HAVE but when a better, established Premier League team comes in with a bid we have no chance of signing him I'm afraid. So you can hardly blame Pearson for that.

Anyways the point is that there are/were many many better options than Konch and De Laet at LB anyone thinks otherwise is deluded Mings? Olsson ?
