Trio chase Leicester City defender

Blackburn Rovers, Watford and Fulham are interested in Leicester City defender Liam Moore, according to the Daily Star.

Moore has been rotated in and out of the Leicester City starting 11 since the Foxes’ return to the Premier League, and a loan move to one of Blackburn Rovers, Watford and Fulham could guarantee the youngster more regular first team appearances.

The 21-year old has been subject to interest from a host of clubs since his debut for the Foxes, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Aston Villa all having watched Moore.

It is, however, unknown whether Leicester City are willing to let Moore go. There are rumours that City could be set to sign a new defender, should this happen the likelihood of Moore leaving on loan increases.

Not a cat in hell's chance. Especially if we don't sign another CB.

I think we'd have to sign two for him to go out on loan.

Would be the right move for all parties. We desperately need a new centre back in (or two) and Liam would be 4th in the pecking order. He needs more experience to continue to improve and for me, he's not quite there yet for the Premier League.

If we are bringing in another centre back it would be a good move, he'll be 5th choice then when Upson is fit and I'd rather have him playing in the Championship than the development squad.

Would have to be an instant recall loan though.

If we recruit in defence, especially in the middle, then I wouldn't mind him going out on loan because, like you said, he would go down the pecking order. If we don't bring in anyone then it would be just plain stupid to send him out on loan.

With MattP and Father Ted. I think if we bring in another centre half he will probably be fifth choice. He isn't a bad defender but he's a tad over-rated by some. I do think he can play at this level one day, just not quite yet.

Watford sign a player on loan. Trip down (recent) memory lane.

Number 3, he's on loan

Number 4, he's on loan

All the subs, they're on loan

And the dugout, it's on loan

It's quite possible that clubs have enquired about a loan without us actually allowing him to go. Why you've got to blame the paper I don't know.

Mr Moore should stay, he is 21, like Schlupp this season, staying up or down, he learns with the 1st team in the PL.

He like all has had his ups and down, no worse than others. His mistakes so far, part individual part team/others.

We are struggling so many fans criticise and find fault with every mistake, his have not been any worse than some top players from top PL clubs. His present and future began this season..!!

And dont be silly and argue over bad mistakes costing a game..I would counter..Walsh , Cross, Elliot, Gerrard, Lampard, Vardy,

etc blah blah.

get someone else in first, then debate it. until we sign someone better this is a non-starter, because he's our 3rd choice (unless upson actually exists), and you don't let your third choice defender go out on loan.

IF we sign a new centre back then, for me, it's a no brainer. Liam would be behind that player, Was and Morgan. He will be an excellent player for this club in time. 4-5 months of playing every week will do him and his confidence the world of good.

send Upson out on loan to get some games under his belt , certainly not Liam!!!

I think it would be better to just tear Upsons contract up!
