Liam Moore loan?

Recommended Posts

Not sure we can have another loan player.

Certainly won't be a centre half.

Have 5/6 of those..

You could have a dozen but how many are better than him.

Liam has proved himself at championship level. It will not aid him to play in it. He has to play at the highest level to improve.

We should keep hold of Liam Moore.. He's a local lad and is a Leicester Fan. We should help him develop, we could potentially loan him out but not to a championship team! I think we need to sign a solid proven premiership defender who he can be mentored by.

STOP SAYING LAZY JOURNALISM PEOPLE!!!

Back to OP, it makes sense if we bring someone else in at the back. Would be ideal if he came back as a better player if we stay up. Would be a shame if he developed on loan only to bring him back to play in the Championship for us.

if we sign corluka and upson gets fit (both big ifs) then he has to go out on loan. he'd then possibly be fifth choice, ie. he wouldn't even be on the bench most weeks.

It would make more sense to send Upson out on loan for a month to get his match fitness up and keep Liam on the bench IMO

I like this. Moore has had enough experience at championship level, if he needs anything it's premiership experience. Hope he stays with us.

I think it pays to have a pacey CB in the ranks and he's been unlucky not to have started more games. He was brilliant early doors and it's just been through a mistake or two that he's lost his place in the side. I think he definitely has the ability to push himself into the side as I don't see us buying too many CBs this window.

Will Upson ever actually be fit? Sh*t signing that was.

Hope not, not only a shit signing, he's a shit player.

Hold your horses, ladies.

Can we see Upson play over a certain period of time before slating him for irrational reasons?

Nah, I was expecting a more in-depth negative rant  from kingfox about players he doesn't like and hasn't seen.

He's letting it slide lately.

why do people say Moore has pace? Does he?

Nope. Over a short distance no quicker than any of our other centre backs.

When you watch Wes Morgan, he is considerably quicker, both across the ground and with his feet.

If, as I believe we should, we drop good money on a quality centre-back, I'd be happy with this because it means he gets games. He's still got plenty to learn at Championship level.

Otherwise it's clearly a terrible idea.

If he's going to be restricted to cover/sub appearances I'd rather he went out on loan. He needs games to develop at this age, not rotting in development squad/the bench.

Kingfox's comments are just lazy journalism posting.

Moore has proved himself in the Championship, he needs to be picking up Prem appearances here and there now.

Big fan of young Liam. In terms of his pace I would say hes decent especially once he is in his stride. He needs to work on his positional sense and seems to lose concentration hence he has been dropped recently. I remember a game this season at a free kick we conceded a goal from a free kick where he was trying to tell others where they should be. The oppo took it early he lost his striker and they scored. Playing alongside Wes will be great experience for him.
