Riot Van Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Stoke are looking pretty poor against Arsenal here. If they play like this next week we will win.
Number 6 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Would be nice to creep out of the bottom 3 before the tough run of fixtures.
harpendenfox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 No doubt they will be a considerably tougher proposition than Villa, but at our best we have a decent chance. I think the difference is we have a bit of belief again.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Stoke were useless today, albeit against a very good Arsenal side. I'm very confident about this game but I do wonder what Nigey boy is going to do with our midfield. I'm gonna go with Manwell Pablo again and call for a 4-4-2. Whether to play Cambi again ( and risk slowing it down a little) or Hammond with King? For me, that's gonna be the biggest decision.
Rushden fox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 The main thing is to still be In touch once we've played Man City then it's up to us as we will have a perceived easy run in. By them our new signings would have bedded in. Should see us finish 15th. COYB
Buzzell Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I'd go with... Hamer Simpson Was Morgan Konchesky Albrighton Hammond King Knockeart Ulloa Nugent
foxes88 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Play like today and three points are staying in Leicester. I'd play the same first 11 as today, just Cambiasso instead of James. Kramaric off the bench if needed. Hamer Simpson Morgan © Wasilewski Konchesky Albrighton Hammond Cambiasso Knockaert Nugent Ulloa I would agree with this team tbh. Give knockaert and albrighton the licence to really attack as well. Nugents defensive work will be very important to ensure we don't get caught on the counter. Not just against stoke but for the rest of the season. Hope Kramaric works hard for the team when he comes in
Dan Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Kramaric in for Nugent for me. Oh and Drinkwater for James.
Finn Claw II Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Hammond deserves his place, dinky next to him if fit (king is a bit lightweight for me). Big test for us in terms of defending against a more physical side. Ulloa is good to have in the team to help defend set pieces. Kramaric in if he trains all week

Very effective in both boxes which will be important against the land of the giants select XI
ealingfox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Krammy on the bench for me. Won't be up to Pearson's fitness levels yet and has to earn his place like everyone else. Whack him on second half if Nugent couldn't score in a brothel as yesterday.
David Hankey Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Why not start with an unchanged team apart from James of course. Kramaric to come on for the last 30 minutes and score a hat-trick, what could be finer?
Unabomber Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Really looking forward to this, big home game and then the foxestalk big night out after, should be amazing.
dayday Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Our discipline will be key next Saturday,Stoke are a very physical and direct side,no matter what Mark Hughes thinks. We have to cut out the needless free kicks and corners if we can. Nigel has after using different formations has finally found that 4-4-1-1 is our best, and I am very confident that we will win next week as Stoke are not the quickest of teams
gerrytaggart Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 6 points from these lot would be a great return. I think we will edge it by the odd goal.
Jobyfox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 It's amazing how many people follow Croatian football enough to know that Kramaric will fit straight into the side. I'd prefer to see him live first. Asking him to lead the line, for a new club in a new country, after only a few days, is a big ask. Then again, this time next week, I might think differently. Hopefully he will be everything we hope he is.

Matty Hamez Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I can't see Kramaric starting. Yes, he's been brought in to start, but it really isn't Pearson's way. I'd expect the same team as last week, except for the centre mid, which will depend on who's fit and available there.
Stevosevic Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Wood started after signing the day before a game
Father Ted Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Hamer Simpson Wasyl Morgan De Laet Albrighton Cambiasso Drinkwater Knockaert Nugent Ulloa Subs: Schwarzer, Moore, Lawrence, Hammond, King, Kramaric, Schlupp? A side without James in the middle really does worry me. I hate to say it but for me he's the only partner dynamic enough to play in a 2 with Cambiasso and Hammond. Would love to start Hammond but for me he's best suited in a 3.
Finnaldo Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Wood started after signing the day before a game But he'd been in action before with Millwall, Krama's been off during their winter break and likely hasn't done any training with us unless it's been agreed with Rijeka. It could be a possibility that his fitness isn't up to standard at the moment, especially with the step up from the Croatian Division 1 to the Premier League.

Wood was playing Championship football. Krammy has been playing in a different division in a different country. Not saying that it's impossible, but a big ask ( and possibly unfair) to expect him to start.
DennisNedry Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 It's hard to choose a team because we don't know which midfielders will be available or if Kramaric will be OK to play. Hamer Konchesky Morgan Wasyl Simpson Albrighton Drinkwater (if not fit then Hammond) Cambiasso Knockaert Nugent Kramaric Bench: Schwarzer, De Laet, Moore, Ulloa, Vardy, Hammond, Lawrence. After demonstrating again how wasteful in front of goal we are against Villa, if Kramaric really is as clinical as his record suggests and Pearson thinks he can be, he has to start. With our position as it is we simply don't have time to ease him in off the bench for half a dozen games. Hopefully he hits the ground running.
sdb Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Very tough Premier League side, who will want to do a lot better than they did today. THis won't be like Villa I fear. 1-1.
