StanSP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 or celebrations of the biggest glory hunters on the planet and the BCCI. what
leicsmac Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 That was a vicious ball from Johnson - just about mowed Sharma in half. Still think this one will be close though.
Guest MattP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Oh come on, I'm not talking about you personally but as a collective Indian fans are famous for it, the World over it's talked about among cricket fans. Barely ever their in numbers unless they look like they are about to win something, the offices I've worked in at the minute all they will be talking about is cricket, when England were 3-1 up last summer in the Tests the same people were almost pretending the sport didn;t exist, I remember watching test matches where the ground has been empty for 3 days and then full as soon as India look like winning. The Aussies aren't much better though. They turn their backs as well when they start to lose.
ealingfox Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Probably all over now tbh. Way behind the R/R and top 3 all gone. ffs India you shit twats.

For years it's been one day and limited-over cricket. (I personally don't agree and I love test matches (last summer was horrible though ) I don't like that that's the way it is but it's not gonna change for ages now.

The Indian audience seems to struggle with anything these days without it being shortened, theres now a one set tennis IPL, obviously IPL cricket, a snooker version starting soon which is a one frame shoot out. It's an amazing change from 30 years ago where ODI cricket in india was pretty much shunned. This is looking tough for them now, Dhoni will have to play the knock of his life.
StanSP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 That snooker and tennis shit is a load of crap. Hate it. It's vile. We've left ourselves with too much to do. I know we had to take our time but I felt from the start we were going a bit too slowly. That was a very decent catch by Haddin to get Raina out.
Corky Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 It really is hard to know who to support here. We'll either end up with gloating Australians or celebrations of the biggest glory hunters on the planet and the BCCI. Whoever it is let's hope the Kiwis smash them Sunday. Agreed, let's hope the world champions tour this summer in the early part. We'll probably give a guard of honour to Australia should they win it
StanSP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 This ain't happening. So slow and never got going. Good luck to NZ in the final.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Strange knock from Dhoni, surely should have gone bigger earlier than he did?
StanSP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Shit way to go out of this tournament. Expected loads more from this team in this kind of match.
Finnegan Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Dhoni goes, every Indian supporter in the ground proves Matt right.
StanSP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Yeah that's not cool . Not anything against Matt but I wish he wasn't proved right
IOWFOX Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Nice of India to let England play the semi final in disguise.
Guest MattP Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Dhoni goes, every Indian supporter in the ground proves Matt right. One of the great things about being an England Cricket fan is the foundation of lunacy and self-depreciation that formed the Barmy Army. When we were 9 wickets down in the last Ashes test about to be beaten 5-0 all you could hear on the coverage was thousands of Englsh supporters singing non stop, winning is great, but even greater when you go through the lows before it.
Corky Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 I'm a bit bemused by the Dhoni run out. It was a brilliant piece of fielding but why did Dhoni just give up and not attempt to dive in? It could've been close with a dive.

It could've been close with a dive. Probably just didn't think Maxwell would 1) throw it and 2) do so that accurately. Basically he thought he was safe and took his eye off the ball and the situation. No excuse for it, really, especially from the captain.
Yastafox Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Anyone up for a bit of cricket? Trying to get a team together for Wednesday evening league...
IOWFOX Posted 29 March 2015 Posted 29 March 2015 What a world cup Mitchell Starc is having! Get the feeling he might tear us apart in the summer.
ealingfox Posted 29 March 2015 Posted 29 March 2015 Think the toss has decided this final. Depressing but the Aussies have done it again. Kiwis' game only works if they're batting second. Congrats Australia. Let's hope we see a few retirements and some coaching changes before the Ashes.
Vacamion Posted 29 March 2015 Posted 29 March 2015 Aussies winning this with the ball so far. Come on New Zealand.
ealingfox Posted 29 March 2015 Posted 29 March 2015 Bookies clocked on early doors as well. Odds-on after the toss, and 1/10 now.
