Collymore Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Everyone's so focused on Kramaric saving our season but I really do believe it could be Albrighton who is the difference. I remember reading that when he was fit for villa he had the best stats for crossing in the prem (a bit like guppy did in his prime) He's obviously a confidence player. I believe with Nigel's man management skills could be the dark horse for the rest of the season. This guy has to be one of the first names on the team sheet from now on.
Gio Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 He was in the top few for chances created per minutes played last season and whenever he plays for us i can see why. No one knew why villa let him go and no one knows why he's not starting for us based on current form. Cearly a talented player and full of confidence at the minute, would be one of the first names down on the team sheet for me
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 He's shown he's got the self-confidence and belief in himself to come from a period where he wasn't even involved to someone who can make the difference for us. Hopefully he's played himself into contention. Not going to criticise Nige because we know he never changes a winning side, as well as him being the don.
whoareyaaa Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I think your referring to this “If you look at the stats of players who played more than 10 games in the Premier League last season, only five players created more chances per minute than Marc Albrighton (David Silva, Willian, Samir Nasri, Juan Mata & Mesut Ozil). He also delivered more crosses per minute than any other player who started a Premier League game." Why he isn't starting baffles me

(all the chances were probably created from crosses)

BoyJones Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Albrighton must start and we need that extra body in midfield - then we will start to look like a team. First half king and drinky were completely overrun. Was played well, apart from Albrighton and to a certain extent Simpson, the rest may as well have stayed in bed today. Train just leaving Piccadilly, can't wait to have a few drinks to get over the needless defeat. United were rubbish and there got the taking - we missed out bigtime by our over cautious first half approach. I like NP, but wish he had opted for the extra midfielder rather than play three up front who can't tackle and were never really in the game, Next week us massive (as ever!)
Captain... Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Albrighton must start next Saturday, we play Ulloa and can't put a decent cross in, bring on our best crosser then take off the only forward who can head.
lgfualol Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Imagine the reaction if Albrighton is on the bench next weekweek, with Vardy on the wing. He simply has to play.
Tuna Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Imagine the reaction if Albrighton is on the bench next weekweek, with Vardy on the wing. He simply has to play. And don't you know, that's exactly what Pearson will do.
Unabomber Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Who looks more like a rodent de laet or albrighton that's the real quiz.
whitwickfox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 The problem with albrighton is he is prem quality and Pearson doesn't want that in his side
Collymore Posted 31 January 2015 Author Posted 31 January 2015 Who looks more like a rodent de laet or albrighton that's the real quiz. Anyone else think Albrighton looks a bit like Messi?
Bagworthblue Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Anyone else think Albrighton looks a bit like Messi? About as much as I look like Brad Pitt
Claridge Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 About as much as I look like Brad Pitt Wife says can you post a pic and number?
SecretPro Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Imagine the reaction if Albrighton is on the bench next weekweek, with Vardy on the wing. He simply has to play. This WILL happen.
Bagworthblue Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Wife says can you post a pic and number? She may be somewhat disappointed
sly1 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Play him in more games good crosser of a ball into Good areas up the blues
Fox92 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Needs to start. Did well when he came on today, again.
formidable1 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Why are we talking about Albrighton?Kramaric is the messiah, this board told me that two weeks ago. Someone also had the audacity to suggest he was league one standard. How dare that poster!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Guest Cujek Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Dont understand what the lad has done wrong not to be starting.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Mark AND!!!!! NugentThe two link together so perfectly! the difference when they both came on, today and at tottenham was just another level! They both need to start
la domestique Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Everyone is of the same opinion. He should be in the side. Either is dire in training, or he has upset the manager. There has to be something more to this decision not to play him.
